:dead: at @GoddamnyamanProf still salty after I shytted on Harden and he exposed himself

:dead: at @Ed MOTHERfukkING G still salty that I shytted on that Smith signing and he further exposed himself
Anyone credible (not you) that knows about basketball (not you) will list Harden as the best or one of the best 2 guards in the league, and thats been the case for a few years now. I told you thatd be the case back when he was OKC and youve been wrong and mad ever since.

The coli is reactionary as fukk, that's what makes it the coli, but hindsight is always 20/20. Just wait until Kyrie's knees shatter or he plays like shyt in the playoffs. People will do the same bullshyt the other way around.
Fair enough too.

Because Irving is fragile and hasn't proven that he can stay healthy on a long term basis. I wouldn't call that hindsight bias at all. On him playing like shyt in the playoffs, nah that's a whole different animal. If the coli is reactionary, then you're using that term that you've branded me with, far too loosely. Yes I obviously can't predict what percentage a player will average on Jan 4th 2039, during the exact time between the last two minutes of the third quarter and the first six minutes of the fourth quarter, right down to the nearest decimal point - however 80%-90% of the time I weigh as many elements as I logically can, given time and motion constraints of a not-yet developed solution into painting a picture that is as clear as I can possibly make it.

I like how you move the goalposts every chance you get.

Of course he's one of the best SGs in the league, but that says less about his actual talent, and more about the current state of the position. It's funny how you always claim this only 'credible' people know how good his game is or anyone that 'knows' basketball will tell you how he good he is. When I know for a FACT that the posters on this board that you believe are the most objective and knowledgeable have said the EXACT same things I've said about his game and how he will be/has been exposed. You already know this, because you've had to deal with it for the past two seasons, especially in the postseason(s).

Question is, why knowing all this do you constantly use the same excuse for your delusional state?

And do NOT under any circumstance say that they haven't, because we can tag them in this very thread and ask them.

I told you thatd be the case back when he was OKC and youve been wrong and mad ever since.

That's funny because in all the Harden threads (my opinion, I'm not going to single myself out here, because a lot of dudes said the same shyt I've been saying, and it'd be unfair and ignorant to take all the glory, since I never started exposing Harden, that would be @houston911 ) - said that I was RIGHT all along. I can up the quotes if you'd like? Even Rockets fans were saying I was right when they were laughing at me during the seasons where he'd pulled the wool over their eyes.

You clearly know that I said his lack of midrange game, dependency to rely on foul calls would dry up in the playoffs, limited game of jack of 3pt shot/flop on a layup etc etc would be his downfall, so I clearly wasn't wrong. because you saw as well as the whole NBA world did, that's why he individually came up short in the postseason(s).

Another question - Have you forgotten all the shyt (and god knows there's A LOT of it) you've said about Harden, that was legitimately proven wrong?

Actually it's probably best if you don't answer that, since you've convinced yourself that Harden doesn't flop, so I highly doubt anything you do say is ever normalized by the hit of reality, because you've become so far entrenched in this murky casuistry-world that absolves Harden from any wrongdoing that you consciously don't know what's fact or fiction regarding him.

It's also funny too how A LOT of dudes on this board also were captivated and led astray by Harden's game in his first regular season as a Rocket and OPENLY admitted to being wrong about him once the spotlight shone right on his dolphin-teeth ass during the playoffs or just in general. Why couldn't you do the same @GoddamnyamanProf ?

Why couldnt I do the same? Listen, posters here love to flip flop and hop on the latest bandwagons and trends, and thats whether its sports, hip hop or piff. Im not worried about the flavor of the month opinions of other posters. Im secure in my views and knowledge so Im not pressed to bookmark every thread Ive ever had an argument in, file them alphabetically and then resurrect them years later whenever my guy has a good game or your guy has a bad game like look, loooooook, PLEASE validate my opinions you guys!

I dont understand that behavior. Your claims that I think Harden can do no wrong are also total fabricated bs strawman ducktales. Ive laid out his flaws multiple times, and maintain that hes an immensely talented player with some major holes in his game that need to be addressed. I dont see how any objective ball fan could disagree with that. You, on the other hand, maintain that Harden's a big fraud, the end. You've been quiet all season as he (and your other fav CP3) has been balling. He's still young and improving, hes made an effort to work on his biggest weakness this year, and the thread on his improved defense really had you out of sorts and scrambling for some negative spin :russ: that was entertaining.

G'head and cook, though. Dolphin teeth, good shyt breh.

How does this make any sense, when Harden hasn't proven that he's got over that wall during the postseason? I'd also like you to provide some evidence of this to, because I have a hard time believing that dudes that watched him over the last two seasons and know how transparent his game is, would suddenly wake up and say

"I was wrong about Harden, all his weaknesses are gone now :gladbron:" when there hasn't been a postseason to prove their initial thoughts or secondary thoughts wrong.

Nope, they've been multiple times where you'd either lied or failed to acknowledge his flaws to a realistic measure. Let me provide a few instances for your bullshyt.

May 2012 (the season where the Thunder went to the Finals, and Harden shrunk on the biggest stage and Westbrook rose to the occasion)

Westbrook is still young...he will be a superstar

:wtf: Harden's younger and better

:wtf: since when he was irrelevant 3 out of 4 games.

I been telling you Harden is OKC's 2nd best player forever now and w/ performances like tonight, seems more people are finally gonna realize the same thing.

I think its pretty obvious, actually. He's bigger, smarter, a better playmaker at the 2 position than Russ is at the 1, and can pretty much do everything Westbrook can as well.

Someone gonna give James that max, he's too good to be third fiddle.

Then the Finals happened and we saw who the ACTUAL 2nd best player on the team was.

You were adamant that Harden was better than Westbrook

Never said Harden was better than Russell. You're wrong, stupid and a liar..

Did you forget that you BLATANTLY lied about lying? The evidence is all there.

Then I tired telling you once the calls dry up in the post season and his dependency to draw fouls and not try to get buckets and his lack of a midrange ability would expose his game in not only the 2013 playoffs, but also the 2014 playoffs.... and what do ya know, just as I said he played terribly because he his flaws were in full view, when you tried telling me and everybody else that we were overstating his flaws would expose him.

You were wrong. There's no two ways about it.

You, on the other hand, maintain that Harden's a big fraud, the end..

And for the last two seasons he has been a big fraud. I've always maintained that until he fix his flaws then he'll always stumble and fall in the playoffs. I always acknowledged his talent, in fact I said he'd average 20+ ppg a few days after he was traded to Houston and that he'd never reach his potential in OKC.

You've been quiet all season as he (and your other fav CP3) has been balling..

I've been quiet all season? Really? That Harden defense thread says otherwise. Plus I wouldn't say he's been balling this season, he's been shooting in the 36-39% for most of the season. and being top 5 in turnovers for the season as well. And I don't really need to keep upping threads about him because i) we all know that the playoffs are the biggest test for him ii) 98% of this board has turned on him, so there's not much point upping posts/threads, when it's like saying the sky is blue.

CP0 has been ballin, and playing extremely well. Once again like I've told you, he always plays well during the regular season, it's what he does during the playoffs and how he's depicted as this 'winner who makes everyone better' that I have an issue with. I acknowledge that he's arguably a top 5 player and his skills. Why are you so dense?
He's still young and improving, hes made an effort to work on his biggest weakness this year, and the thread on his improved defense really had you out of sorts and scrambling for some negative spin :russ: that was entertaining.

Are you going to keep saying this every season, even if he keeps coming up short in the playoffs? Like I said above, he needs to fix his flaws before he can get over that wall, my criticism of Harden has been proven right, from what he's done over the past two seasons. I NEVER said that he was NEVER gonna improve or he was too old to change his game. Again you're moving the goal posts.

I said his lack of midrange, over-reliance on fouls calls, not attempting a shot etc etc would be his downfall, and was proven right. That doesn't mean 5-6 years down the line, that if he does fix those that I'd be then proven wrong, as I'm giving you a picture of what his game 'currently' is/was.

How did that thread put me 'out of sorts and scrabbling for a negative spin' when it was an objective point of view?

How isn't it one of those times to shyt on these advanced statistics? It's saying that Harden is one of the most effective defenders in the league, which we all know isn't true.

After 12-14 games the algorithm doesn't even have close to enough data to show an accurate reading. If you're on a good defensive team and you play a high amount of minutes, it will inflate your reading (see Boozer's years in Chicago and Curry last season). Houston has arguably the best defense in the league; they have a top 5 interior defender, arguably a top 5 wing defender and arguably the best PG defender - the 37 mpg that Harden spends on the floor (the highest of the team), he's usually playing with all three of these players. He's still a shytty defender; he still lacks urgency and he still takes plays off - the difference is his miscues and lapses are easily covered up.

How is that not an accurate opinion on the matter? Don't cut off your nose to spite your face.

You still haven't answered this question. Who are these 'credible' folk on this board that 'know' basketball?

I answered it immediately in my response, read it again. Theres a few people that know their shyt but none of that is relevant anyway. When I speak on credible basketball heads my first thought isnt a message board that loves to "turn on" athletes and employs trolls as moderators.
