Why couldnt I do the same?
How does this make any sense, when Harden hasn't proven that he's got over that wall during the postseason? I'd also like you to provide some evidence of this to, because I have a hard time believing that dudes that watched him over the last two seasons and know how transparent his game is, would suddenly wake up and say
"I was wrong about Harden, all his weaknesses are gone now

" when there hasn't been a postseason to prove their initial thoughts or secondary thoughts wrong.
I dont understand that behavior. Your claims that I think Harden can do no wrong are also total fabricated bs strawman ducktales. Ive laid out his flaws multiple times, and maintain that hes an immensely talented player with some major holes in his game that need to be addressed. I dont see how any objective ball fan could disagree with that..
Nope, they've been multiple times where you'd either lied or failed to acknowledge his flaws to a realistic measure. Let me provide a few instances for your bullshyt.
May 2012 (the season where the Thunder went to the Finals, and Harden shrunk on the biggest stage and Westbrook rose to the occasion)
Westbrook is still young...he will be a superstar
Harden's younger and better

since when he was irrelevant 3 out of 4 games.
I been telling you Harden is OKC's 2nd best player forever now and w/ performances like tonight, seems more people are finally gonna realize the same thing.
I think its pretty obvious, actually. He's bigger, smarter, a better playmaker at the 2 position than Russ is at the 1, and can pretty much do everything Westbrook can as well.
Someone gonna give James that max, he's too good to be third fiddle.
Then the Finals happened and we saw who the ACTUAL 2nd best player on the team was.
You were adamant that Harden was better than Westbrook
Never said Harden was better than Russell. You're wrong, stupid and a liar..
Did you forget that you BLATANTLY lied about lying? The evidence is all there.
Then I tired telling you once the calls dry up in the post season and his dependency to draw fouls and not try to get buckets and his lack of a midrange ability would expose his game in not only the 2013 playoffs, but also the 2014 playoffs.... and what do ya know, just as I said he played terribly because he his flaws were in full view, when you tried telling me and everybody else that we were overstating his flaws would expose him.
You were wrong. There's no two ways about it.
You, on the other hand, maintain that Harden's a big fraud, the end..
And for the last two seasons he has been a big fraud. I've always maintained that until he fix his flaws then he'll always stumble and fall in the playoffs. I always acknowledged his talent, in fact I said he'd average 20+ ppg a few days after he was traded to Houston and that he'd never reach his potential in OKC.
You've been quiet all season as he (and your other fav CP3) has been balling..
I've been quiet all season? Really? That Harden defense thread says otherwise. Plus I wouldn't say he's been balling this season, he's been shooting in the 36-39% for most of the season. and being top 5 in turnovers for the season as well. And I don't really need to keep upping threads about him because i) we all know that the playoffs are the biggest test for him ii) 98% of this board has turned on him, so there's not much point upping posts/threads, when it's like saying the sky is blue.
CP0 has been ballin, and playing extremely well. Once again like I've told you, he always plays well during the regular season, it's what he does during the playoffs and how he's depicted as this 'winner who makes everyone better' that I have an issue with. I acknowledge that he's arguably a top 5 player and his skills. Why are you so dense?
He's still young and improving, hes made an effort to work on his biggest weakness this year, and the thread on his improved defense really had you out of sorts and scrambling for some negative spin

that was entertaining.
Are you going to keep saying this every season, even if he keeps coming up short in the playoffs? Like I said above, he needs to fix his flaws before he can get over that wall, my criticism of Harden has been proven right, from what he's done over the past two seasons. I NEVER said that he was NEVER gonna improve or he was too old to change his game. Again you're moving the goal posts.
I said his lack of midrange, over-reliance on fouls calls, not attempting a shot etc etc would be his downfall, and was proven right. That doesn't mean 5-6 years down the line, that if he does fix those that I'd be then proven wrong, as I'm giving you a picture of what his game 'currently' is/was.
How did that thread put me 'out of sorts and scrabbling for a negative spin' when it was an objective point of view?
How isn't it one of those times to shyt on these advanced statistics? It's saying that Harden is one of the most effective defenders in the league, which we all know isn't true.
After 12-14 games the algorithm doesn't even have close to enough data to show an accurate reading. If you're on a good defensive team and you play a high amount of minutes, it will inflate your reading (see Boozer's years in Chicago and Curry last season). Houston has arguably the best defense in the league; they have a top 5 interior defender, arguably a top 5 wing defender and arguably the best PG defender - the 37 mpg that Harden spends on the floor (the highest of the team), he's usually playing with all three of these players. He's still a shytty defender; he still lacks urgency and he still takes plays off - the difference is his miscues and lapses are easily covered up.
How is that not an accurate opinion on the matter? Don't cut off your nose to spite your face.
