Coli being reactionary as usual. Rozier is doing his thing but we're underestimating Brad Stevens ability to develop his players. This guy could have made Jared Sullinger a solid starter. Theres no guarantee he would have been as good in Cleveland.

Is it development, or putting them in a great system that allows them to shine?

If it's development, nikkas wouldn't fall off after they leave Brad's system.

I think it's a little bit of both. But there are other circumstances that keep players that leave their teams that keep them succeeding to like fit chemistry etc.

Really good players get off, regardless. Teams recognize what they have, and give them the opportunities.

Take Kyrie, since that's who this thread is about. When he and Kevin Love teamed up with Lebron, they struggled at first. The team could've decided to make Kevin Love the no. 2 option, but they did not. The season before he came to Cleveland, Love averaged 26 and 14. Kyrie ain't averaged 26 for a season, YET. So, once again, why make him the definitive no. 2?

Once you get players in the mix, you start to see who can do what, and you make your decisions from there.

shyt, Brad Stevens said, in practice, Kyrie would literally goes days without missing a shot.

Point is, players don't get prime opportunities on teams, because their talent don't mandate that they do.

Goatganda the pearl of Africa
At the end of the day Cavs should have kept Wade, rose, it , crowder

Vets rise in the playoffs

Now the Cavs are saddled with paying George hill 40 mill next two years when he's a backup at Best
Jordan Clarkson 30 mill next two year
And bums like hood and Nance

This is true.

Shouldn't yall be comparing Terry Rozier to IT since that's who the cavs traded for?

keep Rozier until you cant anymore. not sure why people always talk about skills and ignore durability. I dont trust Kyrie. that being said, I still dont see why you would trade him for a wing unless you get rid of Brown.
