Because it's clearly forced. Nobody on earth talks like this. Not even the most educated people on earth. You literally have to go out of your way to do it.

He made it so obvious when he went on ESPN First take and was spewing nonsense trying to sound so smart that he was misusing words all over the place that it became a joke.

Kyrie Irving on First Take (Breaks down why he left the Cavs, relationship w/ LeBron &more)

Feel free to go and read to watch the video and read what everyone else said.

Nobody talks like this :mjlol::mjlol::mjlol:

Why do the rest of it laugh it off, and you create threads about it, enraged?

Enthralled is a word you encounter FREQUENTLY if you read reviews on any type of media.

I said used in person....not read by some media.

"I've been so enthralled by that black cat that I didn't realize it was snowing all around me" :hhh:

Say that out loud infront of a group of people and see the looks you would get :mjlol:

The quote doesn't really make a lot of sense but I can see why players would feel they don't need this anymore after they've made enough to secure their future.

Stupid fans think these guys should just be miserable while thinking about winning the next championship.

Because I can't recall the last time I've used a common word does that make the word any less common? I haven't used the word "longitude" since the damn 5th grade but that doesn't mean I would bat an eye hearing someone else say it.

I actually heard the interview, so I know what it means. The quote, by itself, doesn't make much sense. But he was asked about Durant saying he may retire early. He went on to basically talk about how, after being in the NBA for so long, dudes just want to just play basketball, and not deal with all the other shyt that comes with being an NBA player.

What is your issue with this Kyrie?

Dude, I saw an interview of Kyrie as a Jr. in HS, and dude sound EXACTLY the same then as he does now. Just maybe this is who he is.

This dude has a Friends tattoo. Dude likes musicals. Like, this ain't your typical jock.

Can he get a little Mike Tyson-esque, not using words properly? Sure. However, I listen to dude closely, and while the flat earth shyt is a bit head-scratching, dude is a lot sharper than people give him credit for.

I mean, how many people can go on ESPN, and talk two aggressive sports analysts in circles for an hour, without having to think hard about what to say? :lolbron:

Nah breh...Mike is low key one of the most articulate dudes of our lifetime.

Despite funny voice/ occasional outburst, I always found him pretty profound
