Niqqa is wearing those names as costumes. He aint reading anything from them. This “I found a sexy quote on IG to share” motif folks post have heads thinking they have a vested interest in any of these names. I for one dont believe Kyrie did nothing more than look at Alex Jones as giving a “hot line” quoting his decade old rant. He likely knows little about Jones history and has little detail on him. What makes you think he has that for the names you listed? You know he retweets quotes saying he doesnt read books? So who are those names to him beyond hot at the moment memes or quoatables?

:camby:

That niqqas emptier than cardboard box.

Yall be impressed by buuuuuuuuullshyt.
hes a pseudo woke-snob

the type of person to bullshyt on a topic instead of flat out saying "i dont know what im talking about"

Kyrie just the NBA equivalent of dude in the barbershop that started watching YouTube conspiracy theory videos and now thinks he’s the smartest person in the room. Or that college freshman that took an Intro to African American studies course and now tries to lecture people

Should he have posted ANY clip of Alex Jones? Hell no. It undermines the issue, because people can't get past the messenger. He could have made the same point with a clip of any number of prominent black folks saying the same shyt.

All of what you saying be cool if all he did was post shyt and talk. Meanwhile, his socials show him in spaces and meeting with people who are ABOUT the shyt he posts about. He puts time and money into these things he says he's about. I've said before and I'll say it again...Kyrie is Isiah Thomas all over again. Media is very different now, but the game is the same. You have your view of him based on what you've read and seen. I do, too. Except we've read and seen a lotta shyt the other has never read and seen. I do not read or listen to media opinions of Kyrie Irving. I do not wholly accept decontextualized quotes and soundbites. I listen to his interviews and I view his socials. Period. If you think he ain't reading and watching anything. Coooool.

I was done listening to media talk about Kyrie last year when media member I won't name let a guest on their podcast say - and I QUOTE - "Kyrie out here telling folks not to take the vaccine." That's slander. It's so irresponsibly untrue that I called this person out on it in DMs and they acknowledged that should have checked their guest on that blatantly false statement. The perception and rhetoric on the dude is so distorted that people will accept that LIE as true, because "It seems like something he would say." But I kept it tucked and I'll keep it tucked, but that's the kinda LYING that surrounds this man, just like the kind of LYING that surrounded Isiah Thomas 30 years ago.

I hope I got another 30 years in me to see nikkas walk shyt back. Again.

so kyrie did all of that just to delete the tweet? he does that a lot. i would respect him more if he just stood on what he believes. he's looking like kanye. says shyt, faces the repercussions and then falls back.

Niqqas be in here clowning Kareem and JB. They stood toe to toe in the same room with bigots in power, took on their questions challenging their faith, and didnt cower like bytches. Its because they were equipped with actual study. They made an investment in their beliefs. Gave it actual care. Respected it. And as a kid in that era, we grew up expecting Black men of substance to battle the heavyweights upholding supremacist institutions. Face to face.

In 2022, dudes are crying about Kyrie being questioned by a garbage sports reporter. :snoop:

Look at how far niqqas have fallen.

Both of those brothas believed that white people were grafted devils and that aliens in a SKY WHEEL (a GOTdamn UFO) would one day rescue the masses of black people. AND BOTH WERE OLD ENOUGH TO KNOW BETTER.

So, let's pump the fukkin brakes and let Kyrie get past the barbershop conspiracy stage that pretty much most black men who seeking some level of truth and understanding of our history and place in this society falls prey to.

He aint seeking shyt. He treats our history or the history of oppressed people like as an IG costume. How else would he be comfortable enough to call the Covid mandate one of the worst atrocities in human history? :childplease:

He aint reading history to make that dumb comment, never mind black history. fukk a barbershop. He knows he has a stage, acknowledges it, then proceeds to treat it like its a whore and not the privilege it is to be a Black man with an audience. Aint no barbershop equivalent to that. Its clown shyt

I'll say it again. SKY WHEEL! Two smart men believed that shyt. And peddled it to black folks.

I ain't participating in a pile-on when I've seen this movie before. He just the next dude starring in it.

If you dont gatekeep shyt knowing you know more than who will?

Your lack of participation and silence is part of the problem.

I am participating (much differently than you) and I'm not silent. I'm not about to shyt on the intelligence and motives of no black person who is at a stage of the journey I have been through. I believed all kinda shyt my teachers, siblings, parents, neighbors, etc. told me wasn't true and would not serve me well in navigating the world. And I ain't have 200 mil banked, further incentivizing me to not listen.

I have schooled young cats that I actually interact with IRL on that nature and negative impacts of conpiracy BS, from Illuminati shyt to absurd Afrocentrism (Cleopatra and everybody else was black), so you assuming a LOT.

Silence tho? That's curious. So, I'll be on the lookout for when a dude not named Kyrie finds himself being labeled antisemitic. And it's gon happen.

Bs. That stage is a privilege. His journey is to hop skip to the most fashionable “Im wearing a Che Cuvera t-shirt” motif and then to another.

How are you going to see how flimsy and disrespectful his “journey” is, give it space to virally blossom, and respect it enough to give it peace as he cheapens your own history and breaks it into pieces?:dahell:

I'm not going to debate his motives, intentions and commitment to the causes and people he says he cares about and supports because we clearly talking about two different people...the guy you see and the guy I see. I see him out actually doing shyt...on his socials. Things that help and benefit people. It's not "fashionable" to go to South Dakota multiple times a year to bring resources and spend time with undeserved Indigenous youth and only have it covered by Native American new outlets. That ain't for style points, bruh. So, we ain't talking about the same guy.

We worship an entire era of Hip-Hop that was all about BULLSHYT Afrocentrism (full of lies and exaggerations, all for the purpose of empowering black folks), so to pretend he just discovered all this shyt in a vacuum is hilarious to me. It's a bit too late to worry about it virally blossoming.

Bottomline: We ain't gon agree.
