North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
Cav's need to either find a real point guard and move Kyrie to the 2 or trade him. As much as Iverson shot the ball he still had seasons where he averaged over 7 assists. This is probably the Cav's biggest flaw. If you can't get your teammates involved that's the point guards falt. Lebron at times is the defacto point guard but it should've be that way. That's probably one of the reasons why he came back to Cleveland in the first place.. because they had an all star point guard.

lebron cant play with a real pg. He doesnt move off the ball, and is too ball dominant. Kyrie being a SG is really for the best

I think he can. He was never asked to coming out of high school and the Cav's never tried to get him one. In Miami they didn't need one. At this stage of his career Lebron needs one. I think that's why he came back to the Cavs. I think he was expecting Kyrie to be more like Russell Westbrook. Kyrie has regressed badly. I don't know if its the injuries or what but if he's not going to get 20 to 25 a night with 7 assists, the Cavs won't win anything.

If I make the same thread the haters come out begging the MODS to ban me.

The OP is right on. Cavs don't need Kyrie's offense especially when you factor he stagnates ball movement and is a complete liability on D.

Against lesser teams these flaws don't reveal themselves because Kyrie is just efficient enough to get his stans going crazy, but against great teams its pretty obvious what's truly going on.

If Kyrie isn't scoring, what's he's doing to positively effect the game?

I been asking this question for four years now.

Returned from a broken kneecap less than one month ago. From Lebron's vacation until the end of last season, the Cavs were playing offense at a level not seen in league history. Threads like these are why there's a 'Random Observations' thread.

I watched a lot of Cav's games before LeBron got there and Kyrie dominated the ball a lot. He was an affective scorer but it didn't matter because they were always behind. He would have his moments and put up a lot of points but he didn't do much else.

He actually started to play better with Waiters. I honestly think Lebron and Love is just a bad mix.

Irving is built more in a Derek Rose type mold and if you gonna have him play point, they should've built a team in the mold of the Bulls. Lebron as a good addition but they should've added more defenders not shooters. And if you gonna get shooters.. get people who can actually shoot. Love was a waste because he doesn't play defense.

Always felt this about Irving.. even before Lebron got there. This season only solidifies it. Good point guards at least lead their team in assists. The most he's ever average in a season was 6. Last year when you have Love and Lebron you only average 5.2 which was a career low.

He's only just recently come back from injury. He's still on a minutes restriction. Do yall dudes watch ball or do you just skim through it?

This thread should have ended after this post -

Lebron needs a derek fisher type, guys like him love to handle and control the pace of the game and Kyrie needs the ball too if he wants to create for himself. It took Wade a lot of sacrifice and that is why they won, Kyrie isn't trying to sacrifice his youth
