People talking nonsense here. Do the Cavs do anything at all with LBJ on the bench for a rest? Those are moments where KL and Kyrie need to show that they can play. In MIA, you could see that Wade was a great player and Bosh an above average and their quality comes through to this day
Wade defended and passed the ball

What's Kyrie doing when he isn't scoring???

Kyrie being a de facto shooting guard isn't even an issue because LeBron is ball dominant and a natural point guard/passer with scoring skills anyway. And Kyrie's handle is definitely elite so he can beat any pressure defense. The problem isn't that he lacks point guard skills, the problem is that he has INCREDIBLE tunnel vision at times (a lot of times). I mean, J.R. Smith pays more attention to where his open teammates are than Irving does.

Always felt this about Irving.. even before Lebron got there. This season only solidifies it. Good point guards at least lead their team in assists. The most he's ever average in a season was 6. Last year when you have Love and Lebron you only average 5.2 which was a career low.

Lebron needs another top level playmaker on his team. That was the main problem during his first iteration as a Cav, and his issue during the Finals. Kyrie is the youngest and probably the best guard to pair with him. Irving and Lebron can alternate responsibilities just like Lebron did with Wade, and with Kyrie being 23, he's many years younger than Lebron so there isn't the decline factor as it was with Dwyane.

Again, Wade passes and defends dude.

There is no comparison with Kyrie and Wade ... and Wade had HEART

Stop bringing up Wade to excuse Kyrie.

I don't know what to say other than we may need to make a move. Not sure for who or what but I've never been a fan of Love (but I doubt he goes anywhere plus that would be a PR nightmare) and I doubt anyone wants AV...I think are only tradeable asset is Mozgod and picks.

lebron and kyrie works well..

kyrie still doesnt have his stroke back.. dude was shaking gsw left and right and missing the mark...

he is the PERFECT pg for lebron..

the real problem is the PF position and backup SF

Kyrie dropped 55 without LeBron against one of the best teams last season. Kyrie has proven he can play.

I think he can. He was never asked to coming out of high school and the Cav's never tried to get him one. In Miami they didn't need one. At this stage of his career Lebron needs one. I think that's why he came back to the Cavs. I think he was expecting Kyrie to be more like Russell Westbrook. Kyrie has regressed badly. I don't know if its the injuries or what but if he's not going to get 20 to 25 a night with 7 assists, the Cavs won't win anything.

like homey said, LeBron doesn't move off ball, and can't spot up and shoot.

Lebron won't/can't adjust his game, he needs specialist around him that does 1 thing well for him to flourish
