I remember in my prerighteous era I once told an employer I needed Sundays off because I was Christian and wanted to go to church. But really I just wanted to watch football,expecting the Raiders to have a promising season. To my suprise they actually said no,and I didnt think they could. May have been a lawsuit easily worth half a ticket if I pursued it. But maybe there are some other rules with religious protections I wasnt aware of
