Kyrie Irving is probably the most underrated player in the league right now

Where do you rank kyrie?

Ths was made true last year in the playoffs. Dude got his shot off on everyone and couldn't be stopped.

So I don't see how Kyrie is actually underrated because he still has the juice from last year.

NO :mjlol:

HES NOT BETTER THAN ANY OF THOSE GUYS I LISTED.

HES A GREAT 1 ON 1 PLAYER
WHO GETS TO ISO ALL DAY.

THOSE DUDES FACE MUCH MORE DEFENSIVE ATTENTION
WHILE LEADING THEIR PLAYOFF TEAMS.

No, Kyrie is overrated if anything. He can be a clutch monster (like he was yesterday), and has great offensive skills, but the guy can senselessly shoot the team out of games, and doesn't offer much on defense. It's why he's a great second option, but probably wouldn't be in the playoffs if he led the team.

ALL of the past greats were great 1-on-1 players that ISO'd all day. This no-iso ball is new, probably over the past 10+ when they were struggling to find a enough players that could create or get their own basket. Find me one that wasn't.

Kyrie is great in that he can get his shot off any time he wants and get to whatever spot he wants. I will say that he's a shytty PG though. He can't run a team or orchestrate an offense for ish, and as a PG, that would hurt him. If he played all SG, then he's Top 10.

As far as the notable players go, kyrie is probably the most underrated rate now.

He's the best one on one player in the league and the 3rd best pg in the NBA. If we took a poll on the Coli he probably wouldn't even rank as a top 7 pg.

It blows my mind how dudes can watch a dude with a skillset that we've NEVER seen before and not appreciate how great this dude is.

How long is it gonna take for kyrie to get the praise that he deserves?

Until he does this in the playoffs (and win) without Lebron.:yeshrug:

Curry does everything you listed better than him

CP3 as well

They also make plays for others something that Kyrie doesn't do
:patrice: I can't go that far. Steph isn't as explosive and can't finish as well as Kyrie. Kyrie probably has slightly better handle. Besides those, Curry is better

Reigning champ PG. Hit the game winner in game 7 and outplayed the league MVP throughout the series.

Kyrie is the #1 PG in the league until somebody comes and takes it from him :manny:

This is kind of silly breh :russ:

Lebron and kyrie could play together for 5 more years

We gotta wait for lebron to retire to give kyrie his props? :dahell:

It's that same line of thinking that could have led to Kobe wanting to do his own thing instead of staying with shaq

Curry can't break dudes down on an island like kyrie

Kyrie is the better midrange shooter

You know this

the midrange
GREAT 1 on 1 player but it stops there. Not a good/willing enough playmaker and bad defender.

He has a similar skillset to Steph. Both have elite handles and range, making them damn near impossible to guard. Play up and they'll dance on you, play off and you already know what's coming. Steph obviously has more range, being the best shooter ever and Kyrie has tighter handles, being damn near the best ballhandler ever (definitely in the discussion). But Kyrie also won a 3 pt shootout and Steph has made many a nikka "touch earth." They're also probably top 2 among guards finishing around the basket with ridiculous glass play and ambidexterity. Lotta similarities.

Kyrie is the more clutch player out of the 2 and younger, yet something still seems to be missing. I think it's the playmaking, too often Kyrie looks like he's playing 1 on 5 and that's not gonna win you very many ball games. :francis:

Steph's midrange is money, he just doesn't shoot a lot of them. Kyrie shoots a lot of bricks from midrange when he's off
