D'antoni's system needs you to be able to make the obvious pass, and the skip pass that only good passers can see.

If you put kyrie in pick and rolls every play and surround him with shooters he literally can't be contained. You're gonna have tons of plays where the big man is guarding him on an island. Guards can't stay in front of kyrie so what is a center going to do?

When the defense collapses he can make basic passes to wide open spot up shooters

It ain't rocket science. We watched Jeremy Lin average like 22 and 9 lmao
