Can't afford him without dumping westbrook and to dump westbrook you have to come off assets that we don't have so a direct trade is off the table. A 3-way trade is unlikely because even if a 3rd party took russ, that 3rd party is not sending assets to the Nets to take on westbrook, we would have to send assets that we don't have in order to compell a 3rd team to complete a deal. I don't see any scenario where this happens.

I couldn’t imagine signing that dude for more than 1 season fr, and that’s only if we’re a championship caliber team

It could work but why would any of those teams do it, and as a Nets fan, BB is a downgrade from Kyrie :manny:

I don't think the Wizards want to rebuild from scratch although they probably should.

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
Wizards don't want no part of Westbrook again.
They didn't like how Westbrook left the first time.

True, but if I were them, I wouldn’t try to get stuck with another long term contract (Beal). Their window to win with him closed a long time ago. At least with Westbrook, it would free up space, plus they could try to get more picks. Basically I would do what Houston did with John Wall.
