And this is where your logic falls apart. The Lakers would have to find a 3-team trade that involved westbrook in order to acquire kyrie.

Exactly. Teams not wanting Russ some how means the Lakers rejected Kyrie :mjlol:

Just like the nets probably had the same understanding they would extend him before he decided to act a fool

No way are the lakers giving kyrie a 5 year max deal based on his history

He definitely wouldn’t be doing all this on the Lakers. And the Lakers would be more likely to give him a 5 year deal as a thank you for accepting $6M this season.

He couldn’t have got the same max from another team that the Nets could offer him :snoop:that’s the whole point of a sign and trade what’s so hard to understand. No team he wanted had anything to offer even the Lakers all we had was Russ and very the few picks we got left.

And why would the nets extend him when everyone knows the reason why they’re mad at kyrie in the first place :snoop: They wanna see him play a full season
He obviously could not get the max from NJ, so you continually repeating that another team couldn’t pay him as much is irrelevant.

If the nets felt there was a free agent market out there for Ky they might have been willing to give him the contract he wanted.

He thought he had leverage. He did not. Otherwise we wouldn’t be having any of these conversations he would have just signed the extension.

Yall wild. :mjlol:

I don't wanna hear shyt about anything he runs into. He had his moment in the sun to make a statement he made it. I'm not mad at that. What I'm mad is this whole debacle about whether or not he was gonna to another team or stay with the Nets. the man has one championship so i get it. But it's just an unnecessary in my opinion. I apologize for calling him a dikk sucker, but I stand by my original comment that I hope that team never touches another playoff again, and that's not gonna happen with KD looking for an exit.

He could get the max from the Nets next season :snoop: It’s not like vaccine mandate is gonna keep Kyrie from playing. If KD/Kyrie/Simmons all play a full season and they make it to the Finals you really think the Nets wont give him a max:mjlol: and it’s not Kyries fault no team wants Westbrook you’re muddying the narrative

The Lakers can’t force a team to take Westbrook:snoop:and none of the other squads have anything to offer FOH
You’re the one doing the muddying talking about westbrook.

Facts are Ky wanted a max contract this year. Nets said hell no. Ky said ok ima play the market. The market said no.

Now he has a prove it year to earn the contract he wants.

I have been watching NBA basketball since the BAD BOYS era, and I have never seen an NBA elite player dropped a potential championship season and fumbled the bag all in one year. :skip: Kyrie is delusional. He really thought he had leverage to gain a max contract after sabotaging the Nets' chance of winning a title with his choice of missing games. :mjlol:
