It wouldn’t make sense, Kyrie and the Nets issue is about money, the nets not wanting to commit $187 million for 4 years, I don’t think he will turn around to get even less money by giving up another $30 million.
Kyrie already went through the Bron is leaving a year from now scenario. Maybe he’s ok with rocking with AD in the future and trusting the Lakers to give him a big deal next year. Lakers are desperate to keep a future going

wherever KD and Kyrie end up, i dont think they making it out to the finals ever (east or west)

both lack leadership and both are wildly sensitive lmao

they’re not leaders…KD could maybe get away with being a quiet “lead by example” type on a team with the right ppl but this ain’t it…and kyrie is not a leader in any shape, form or fashion

The Lakers will commit to signing Kyrie to a Max deal before he signs for 6 million. So Kyrie will still get his money.

out of all of Bron's accomplishments of his amazing career, getting Kyrie to apologize, leave Kevin Durant and return to to him for potentially a mid-level exception exactly like the Thanos Endgame gif will be his greatest achievement :pachaha:

This situation in a way reminds me of how things ended abruptly in CLE with Kyrie.

Instead of swallowing his pride and taking less then the max with BK, he's torpedoing everything and willing to start over with a new team... AGAIN.

The fact that he's upset with the Nets over their concern over his reliability is being proven with how he's handling this. The logical thing would be to opt-in and lock in for next year and go to war with KD and a healthy Simmons.

It'll be interesting to say the least seeing what happens with KD after all of this

I think they could salvage the situation with KD. I’m hearing VERY little to point to this being upper management of the Nets fault. They got Kyrie & Durant the coach THEY wanted. Went and got the third star THEY wanted. And then went and traded said star for another “star” that THEY obviously signed off on. KD really shouldn’t have any beef with the franchise that can’t be fixed. Plus in Brooklyn with Irving gone he’d unquestionably be THE MAN which is what he wants right? To win a chip as THE MAN.
