Bruh called him portlyI was just about to bring this up. What do you guys think the Nets do next year in the east? They seemingly have a squad, assuming Simmons plays 50 games at least. We talking a top 4 team in the east, lower? another first round exit etc? Curious.Nets bout to be good idk why they wouldn’t run it back in the first place .. Ben Simmons .. Joe Harris gonna be back ..
So basically he wanted to leave but no one else would give him the max so he’s opting in and doing damage control![]()
Why not look to do a sign and trade ?
Yup.
Nobody that he wanted to go to wants him atm. They all said no to anything involving locking him into a long-term deal, and will probably say no again come trade deadline. His best bet is to keep his heaad down, play out the season as best he can and rehab the shyt out of his image.
Without a major catastrophic injury definitely top 5 and a team nobody wants to face in the playoffs .. Celtics swept them but it close games every gameI was just about to bring this up. Full healthy (including mental when it comes to Simmons and Kyrie...yeah I know that's asking for a lot lol) is easily a #1 seed and best team in the East.I was just about to bring this up. That’s bullshyt from the Nets front office Woj is their puppet mouth piece
The word was no one offered him a big deal except LA and they would have to clear too many bad contracts to signThat would be the dumbest thing he could do. It is because of the injury history that he should take the big deals.
History indicates that often than not you should take the deal when you have a checkered injury history. See DeMarcus Cousins, Victor Oladipo, Nerlens Noel, etc. When you find teams who are willing to overpay despite your injury history, you take the deal immediately.
So the NBAPA gave him a call? Another body intervened like for basketball reasons!?Breh, if he could've left he would've. No team other than The Lakers are in a desperate enough situation to where they'd consider coming up off anything valuable for Kyrie, and the only options there were leaving $30MM on the table (Which the NBAPA would've never supported) or a straight trade for Russ.
BK basically called his bluff on wanting out, he found out that he doesn't have it like that right now, and had to fold and at the very least give them one more year.

#4 seed losing in Round 2 to #1 seed due to Ben still forcing you to play 4 on 5 offensivelyI was just about to bring this up. What do you guys think the Nets do next year in the east? Something something Westbrook hasn’t opted inNow the talking heads really won't have anything to talk about.
