Its fukked up what's been going on in Palestine/Israel

And I commend Kyrie for using his platform to bring awareness

However , we all can show our support right here in America by boycotting Jews and all of their businesses but that won't be easy because they have a long reach ...all of our presidents support isreal we are an Israeli ally so we have to fight this monster from here...
I'm sure the NBA itself supports Israel so Kyries first move may be to boycott the NBA if he is serious perhaps
But the NBA is very progressive in the sense that they are all for people speaking their voices and allowing BLM propaganda on the jerseys and on court...
So at this point its like OK Kyrie the ball is in your court now what are you going to do...besides say its stressing you out...I wanna see what he is going to do about it...

I haven’t been following but it’s interesting to see the world turn on Israel. Politically the US is too p*ssy to go against Israel but seeing people openly say “fukk Israel” and not worry about backlash is wild.

The U.S. is the one that's been backing Israel and putting a battery in their back the whole time

I didn’t read all the comments, but most of y’all blowing this out of proportion. He isn’t talking like he wants to quit basketball and not give it all for his team. He simply said he wasn’t feeling basketball related questions right now. Kyrie wants to play ball, but he couldn’t care less about discussing it with media people.

It’s horrible what Israel is doing to Palestine, it’s fukking evil ,but I guarantee none of the Arabs give a fukk about him or any of us as black people, it doesn’t matter if he’s Islamic or not:yeshrug:

For the life of me I don’t understand why black Muslims think their religion makes Arabs see them as brothers. We rightful call black Christians who put their religion above their race c00ns, same should go for them:yeshrug:

I couldn't believe when I heard that Palestinian homes aren't allowed to use Isreal's electric grid, and many times they also aren't allowed to install solar panels on their roofs to get electricity that way.

There's all kind of Misery Index shyt Israel does. They were dumping their sewage straight into Palestine at one point too.

I came to flame him but listening to what he had to say I can’t clown somebody for caring about the world. The truth is there are far more important and urgent things going on in the world than basketball right now.

This. I was ready to be like I've had enough of Kyrie's on again off again attitude towards basketball but after clicking play and listening just reminds me the fight for justice and equality is an all consuming thing. It's tough because you gotta be patient even when it seems like things aren't moving they way you want.

Not sure how speaking your mind on a topic of political interest suddenly is mutually exclusive to “I can’t concentrate on my job” or the inevitable “ghost my team for 2-3 games”, especially when your riding solo on the topic.

That’s what I’ll never understand about Kyrie and people who always stick up for him. He takes things that the majority of people would back him on, and turns them into issues and larger stories and leave teammates and coaches to clean up what he does.

Awol?

It's unprofessional to bail out on your teammates for anything other than FAMILY emergencies.

Millions of people drag their asses to work everyday despite hardships, trauma, tragedy, etc. There are members here from developing countries who manage to function despite civil wars and atrocities happening to their relatives back home.
Absent Without Leave, the military term for unexcused absence

Edit: @Get These Nets I was at work and couldn't catch that "AWOL?" was rhetorical but we're in the same side of the argument.
