He only apologized after they threatened to kick him off the team. At that point it’s too late. Nets gotta protect themselves and justify keeping him on the payroll.

Owners and other players have been kicked out of the league period. Kyrie has to go to a couple meetings. How is that worse than just being removed??

and yes i acknowledge that Kyrie has done lots of good in the community. I was speaking on the things he has chosen to speak loud and proud about over the years. All of it has been some selfish fukk shyt.

If you know my history, I was one of the very first Kyrie stans on this board. I've defended his play more than anyone else; you will not find another poster who has come to his defense more than I have. I've gone through years and years of battles arguing with others.

I’ll be surprised if Kyrie plays for the Nets again. Only reason he still was on the Nets this season was because most teams weren’t interested in trading for him, and the few that were only offered pennies on the dollar. Nobody’s gonna be breaking down the door for a 30+ injury prone player that’s always in self-inflicted controversy.

This could be his last season in the NBA simply because no one wants to deal with the headache. Wherever he goes, toxicity follows. He burned bridges in Cleveland, Boston & now Brooklyn. But folks still wanna coddle him. At a certain point it can’t still be everyone else’s fault. I don’t get it.
