Kyrie should've lied. He should've given them the apology they wanted from the jump and kept it moving. He could've just read a BK Nets PR statement at the time.

When someone gets caught disrespecting a race, religion or sexuality, then they read PR written apology, do we believe them?

Well, I don't but within the media's eyes it helps control the fire. But this man was playing word games and just fanning the flames and they weren't having it.

Some of the sports media members are even saying thats what he should've done without actually saying it. The Nets owner was like "we gave him a week to make things right" or whatever.

But he wanted to stand firm and now who knows if we will ever see him on an NBA court again.

I don't mind people standing up for what they believe in, but know your adversary and have a plan.
