This is that old rucker "oh so that other PG is better than me" let's go to his neighborhood tournament and watch what I do. And bust his ass in front of everybody every time yall play.

This is Sebastian Telfair vs Darius Washington levels of ether.

Kyrie clearly knows he can bust Steph's ass. All NBAs, allstars, championships mean nothing when he talking mano e mano .

.when they were On the same team at the Olympics it was Kyrie who was the best guard and player. And I'm sure in practice Kyrie was busting Steph ass. And all the players saw it and knew it.

Steph just did it on the world's stage. As long as Kyrie Irving is in the NBA i cannot call anyone but him the best PG. Because he took the MVP and destroyed him head to head. I remember the last time that happened and what happened from there (David Robinson vs Olajuwon)

He was throwing his shyt every time Steph tried to drive on him. I can't remember a PG blocking another PG so much in one series. Or a PG blocking so much period.

One the play that won the Cavs the NBA championship 1:00 remaining, tie game, this is what is said by Mark Jackson and the other cac commentator:

cac - "Each team has a foul to give as we come up on a minute remaining"

Mark Jackson - "and they're putting Curry in a pick and roll trying to get him on Irving"

cac - "Irving and Curry one on one, Irving puts it up... it's good, Kyrie Irving from downtown. And the Cavaliers by three."

:drakelaugh:

1 minute left, tie game and Golden State tried to hide Curry from guarding Byrie. JR set that pick and Kyrie said "BRING THAT ASS HERE BOY" No pick needed everybody get out the way I'm going to end this with his signature shot, a closey guarded off the dribble 3 pointer.

THATS MY SHOT NOW.

Then on the next possession Kyrie picked up Steph at half court and they had to set a pick for steph. GS didn't think steph could take Kyrie one on one for the 3 to save the championship.

Steph may be a better team player but Kyrie is the better individual one by a mile and he showed it during the Finals. A motivated Kyrie can at least make Steph take tough shots with his defense as he showed in the Finals. While Steph cant do anything with Irving at all when he has the ball.
