While property is an awful way of putting it and definitely gives unnecessary slavery vibes, the reality is any of us who take a paycheck from a person and/or company understand it. It's really only the people who a) have never had a job or b) can't keep a job that think Kyrie is righteous here.

When you take $ from an employer and sign a contract saying you are working for them, you are understanding that they expect you to do this job to the best of your ability. This includes the guy making $7hr raking leaves in a cemetery and the six figure VP of whatever in a Fortune 500 company.

Now, does everyone, or shyt most people, give 100% every day all day? Of course not. But we are all smart enough to know if we thumb our nose at our boss and make our lack of effort clear and apparent, odds are, we will not have that job. In the cases where someone was wronged by their boss, I can see it. Was Kyrie? What did the Nets do to him? He signed there didn't he?

I'm with SAS on this, if he doesn't wanna play basketball anymore, cool, good luck. But tell the Nets that so they can spend that $ elsewhere. The same way if you or I are not happy at our jobs, we should quit. If we can't quit because we need the $, well, maybe at least pretend to try? This is white collar worker 101

The moron wants to get paid $40 million and still not have to play, and will likely cry like a bytch on social media about fines or whatever if it does happen as if he is some victim

Nah. Speak for yourself. I get checks and haven't played corporate games at any point. Never have never will. Quit comparing your job to kyrie. Kyrie has leverage, you don't.

FOH

If Kyrie don't want to play he'll be losing money doesn't matter how he feels or complains. He's not obligated to anyone other than his family

Rochester Ny
yall really gotta get up on Phoenix Suns games ... Kerr, Nash, Marks all these dudes are from the phoenix management and team

Marks was a bad backup Center ... Kerr moved exactly how Marks is moving now.... Nash's job was always to bring chemistry and deal with egos and distribute shots

Add in D'antoni and you have the suns management basically here ... What Marks said in that quote is politically correct for a GM to say ... he has to call it out or else he's looking wild as a manager
these cats ALL know what they are doing and will play dirty. You're gonna see alot more targeting and charming by them this year, next year etc. While Phoenix used to keep a squad, they had to settle a few times for poor mans versions of players. Win or Lose though they got a very good foundation to build off of and Nash has been in Durants ear for half a decade at this point. All of these dudes are free together to mold and bend the team as they wish without fear of anything because the front office works together. Its just a matter of plugging the right pieces in and getting a rhythm going. People can say this is a win or that's a failure but realistically its just as good as they can possibly make it. Deep runs that are well calculated just like the Suns, but with way more fire power. Nash is my favorite so I'm biased... but I always said he would make a great coach because he was already a great leader and chemistry guy.... if he can get rotations and vision bubbling it could get good.
