I really hate that this forum is so focused on basketball when the reality is that many of you guys really don't understand the game. Players do it often, but it's not even a point of emphasis because its recognized. With Jordan it just happened to be in a critical moment of an NBA Finals.

It's been 20 years and you want to know what I have never heard? That if Jordan wouldn't have "pushed-off" that Byron Russell would have blocked his shot or even been able to "recover" from his motion to put a hand in Jordan's face.

Why is that? Slow down the video as much as you can and look at Russell's movement and the quick adjustment he had to make on the crossover. He fukked up because he was playing Jordan too tight. Jordan crossed and Russell gave himself no window to adjust if needed. It looked much worse because by the time he realized it he tried to adjust too quickly and slipped.

My man was in the paint by the time he attempted to make a last ditch effort, he was actually in a better position to grab the rebound if Jordan missed rather than to try and block the shot :russ:

You know what also didn't happen? Russell did not complain after the play - at all.

Who are these "same people"? Quote this discrepancy and we'll see if there's a real conflict, or if you just made it up.

Why aren't we big-upping Kerr and Paxson's shots just as much though? Vinnie Johnson has a championship game-winner too.

How do I search for what someone said when you didn't name them or quote them? :dahell:

That's fine, I'll just assume you're lying then. You've done it plenty of times before. :umad:

Literally NO ONE in this conversation has ever said "kerr and paxson saved jordan in a game 6" and then turned around and downplayed Jordan's shot because it was a game 6.

You won't show it cause you can't.

In fact, I'm pretty sure the only people on this forum who have ever said that Kerr/Paxson "saved" Jordan were just replying sarcastically about people who said, "so-and-so saved LeBron." The only people honest and knowledgeable enough to remember those shots and bring them up are also smart enough to know that teams win championships - a single shot never "saves" anyone.

Your life will go on - you'll keep making up stuff with no receipts and I'll keep calling you on your bs, as always. :heh:

The Jordan shot was a more iconic memory of my chidlhood but, Kyrie's shot was cold blooded. I was pulling for Golden State to win so a nikka was salty af. Golden State was playing like ass the whole second half, kept making silly plays. Then they slowly tried to pull away. Bron was slowing down offense wise but, GS couldn't completely get a lead going because Kyrie kept hitting shots to slow their momentum. I think Steph hit a big shot before, and it was looking like that was the decisive shot of the game. Then Kyrie planted that J right in his face :mjcry:

Jesus. You're furious.

You speak as if you're worth remembering. I have no idea who you are. Shocked you've been here for 3 years. Stop crying like bytch and go back to being unnoticed.
