So you've lived all over the County? What's your favorite region of LA County?

I think i enjoy Long Beach and West L.A the most.

Where was all this advice when I was there this summer?

Another suggestion is the W Hotel for Jazz Sundays. It's free, great crowd, and great scenery. It's the place I would take all my friends but everyone always left before sunday

Bludsoes bbq for them texas ribs. I dont know what texas ribs taste like but id like to know what a texan thinks of them.

.

Whatever you do @houston911 DONT do this. These LA nikkas can't cook BBQ worth a damn. I tried a bunch of spots, including Bludsoes and they were all trash. If you a nikka from the south the BBQ in LA is almost offensive.

I always get the oxtails, the fish batter is too eggie for me sometimes, I'll give the chicken a shot next time I'm there though. The shrimp grits at The Rusty Pot are :ohlawd:. We got a house that we stay at on Dinker when we visit. If not at that house, we're at the Marriott on W. Century which has a dope ass pool.

I'm going to try that:wow:

Why Long Beach? And when you say West LA, do you mean Santa Monica, Brentwood, Pacific Palisades etc?

Melo Burger - Inglewood, CA

Food is whatever but they have the best milkshakes in Los Angeles.
you pick 2 or 3 ingrediants from a list of 50 and they make it. I get Carmel, banana, choclate, marshmellow... but thats me.
Open 24 hours.
It is in Inglewood. You are safe, don't get me wrong... but no need to linger or look touristy if you go super late.

Other Spots to eat:

Tommy's (Chilli Burgers) Original Tommy's Los Angeles, CALIFORNIA - | World Famous Chili Burgers
Pink's (Hot Dog stand, but you gotta wait in line like 45 minutes cause its mad famous now)
Lucy's (mexican restaurant) on Pico

You can hit the Howard Hughes Ctr. Its a mall complex with an imax theatre and a Dave & Busters...

I personally reccomend exposition park (one block from USC).
It has several museums, places to eat, and a rose garden. So you can fill your camera up there with some culture before you go crazy and end up at Rally's on crenshaw blvd at 2am talking to crazy bytches tryna get you to buy them some garlic fries.

Venice is the beach you want to go to, NOT redondo or any of the other beaches.
Venice has all the cool shyt like the piers and boardwalks you see on tv.

Grifith Park is amazing in terms of hiking, you can rent a horse to ride there if you want, and the LA zoo is next door.
