FYI the first article in the paragraph is off. $1.19 billion is the estimated price of the 33k pounds of harvested pot AND the 375,000 plants combined. Depending on which # you trust that's somewhere around 4-10% of California's annual illegal market. Might be enough to dampen the illegal market a bit and force more folk towards the legal dispensaries.

Criminal element can still undercut the legal ones on prices. Which honestly happens in any heavily regulated industry. The only solution is to make illegal weed so difficult to grow/sell that the expense of dodging LE pushes the price higher than the legal dealers.

We usually agree but in this case they need to shut that shyt down cause too many of the grow operations are funding the evil-ass cartels and the only realistic way to stop it is to keep seizing so much shyt that it becomes unprofitable to keep trying to distribute illegally.

I work in the industry and you'll be surprised how many Big names bk door thier packs before they ever hit dispensaries..the metric system keeps tracks from seed to harvest but I know of some big names doing $50ms plus without a single dollar taxed..tha best bet is to grow ur own shyt EVERYBODY in this shyt shady
