How do y’all deal with the heavy traffic? I lived in LA all my life and my dad drove stick, whenever we’d be deep in Downtown or Hollywood traffic I’d be like I’m glad I won’t be driving stick. I took the plunge on this 5 speed roadster and today I went out in legit traffic, tryna get to Hollywood by January 2nd to watch this movie

I rode a motorcycle in NYC and the surrounding areas. My hand hurt so much from gripping the clutch. I could barely do it after starting and stopping so much. shyt was terrible. A car is easier with the clutch, but it still sucks. All automatic for commuting cars. If I’m driving in a big city with traffic, it’s only gonna be with automatics. You can’t really get an automatic motorcycle without spending a shyt ton though...oh well

Best thing to do is just go out at night when not a lot of people are on the road and just get comfortable not stalling with basic driving. When it comes to traffic you should work on easing forward and letting the car roll in gear. If you're trying to play that start stop nonsense that most people play while in traffic then you're a fool. Don't get all in the ass of the car ahead, leave space so that you can roll forward in 1st and be able to maintain these momentum with a tap of the gas every now and then.
