I think it's almost a disservice to compare it to the Bay, because it's really a conglomerate of many different cities. Downtown is completely different from Santa Monica which is completely different from Echo Park, etc. etc. I've been here for almost 4 years now and if you have the funds, it's literally nothing you can't find to do out here.

Any given day(well not lately ) I can catch a Dodgers, Lakers, Clippers game. Can go to a concert, can go hiking, shut is endless.

Any given day I can fukk with a new type of chick. Hoodrat, USC sorority girl, career oriented lawyer, artist, small time actress.

Any given day I have an overabundance of food options. Taco trucks, AYCE Korean BBQ, Soul Food, Thai, Brazilian, Creole, Ethiopian, fukk it you name it.

Now multiply the experience I listed by 10 and that's exactly why most rich people decide to live here. If you make 6 figures you can live an amazing life in LA as a single man.
