Look at nikkas in here, some repping places with no sound of their own, or a sound with absolutely no motion.

Dude is a self admitted hater, that his lane it seems like. Constantly complaining about "Unc's" and not being able to pop bottles, alcohol is doing you no favors brudda....

Oh and everybody that supposedly ran with Drakeo style seems to be better at it than he was. The pop out wasn't a west coast reintroduction, it was a victory lap and did what it was supposed to do.

pretty much this…
this was a show to celebrate the culture from which kendrick came from

and honestly

the dude that posted that will never understand this form of hip hop from the coast
because that “outdated” sound he complaining about was never for him…
As a matter of fact alotta west coast especially in the 90’s clowned weirdos like him…

Thats why he hating on it… cause that style flamed and roasted his type

EAST✈WEST
Real hip hop heads know that Kendrick battle and the pop up and the Superbowl as well as GNX was a win for real Hip Hop from West to East and all points in between
It signifies a regime change from the wack pop sugary fake shyt to that real shyt again
Clipse album dropped and was well received Ghost face etc. it's a welcome vibe for all that real rugged hip hop again and we are rejoicing and give Dot his upmost respect for helping to "free the slaves" from the wack ass oppreser

LA hiphop is a huge piece of hiphop…

:snoop:

From NWA, DeathRow, and G-Funk to Stones Throw, the Beat scene at Lowend theory that gave us Flylo and wonky/Glitch Hop.

You don’t have to love the coast but have some respect.

I’m not even from the we but yall are some weirdo losers that contribute nothing…giving surface level takes..

Skid marks on dusty draws with unearned pride.

There's gang shyt on Humble lol (that AM to the PM part of the first verse). Westside Piru lingo, gang member shout outs, etc are all over his shyt. I'm not saying he's a gang member. But it's all there. Nor will I do a breakdown of gang shyt on the internet because I'm not a cac lol.

they wont ever admit it but la takes its rap sound ques from the bay area. if the bay doesn't innovate la doesn't innovate. now most the bay artist sound like people from the outskirts(stockton/sactown). the bay is stagnant at the moment. we need folks on the west that have that golden era sound like the east coast with griselda

this is the best point. that whole event was more about hip hop in general than the west coast in particular. ever since kendrick did what he did, we have been getting real rap albums that have more media on them than that drake style shyt

go listen to la rap before dj mustard and the bay music from the same years. GDX was basically oakland hyphy beats for 2025. shyt sound like e40 beats

:mjlol:

this how i know you aint listen to that album

only song that is somewhat reminiscent of bay shyt is peekaboo…
and even then that baseline is just the cali sound

shyt it could be passed off as mobb music or some dj battlecat type shyt

other then that aint nothing else on it bay heavy
