:jbhmm: he has an extension through 2018, this potentially means a man could be an NFL head coach without a winning season for a decade? :mindblown:

I was wondering if that was unprecedented, so I typed in "most losing coach in NFL history" expecting some dude from 1962 who got pummeled by Vince Lombardi or something, instead:
"When the Rams lost to the 49ers last night, Jeff Fisher took a dubious place in NFL history. Fisher is now all alone in third place in NFL history for most coaching losses, with 157. Prior to last night he was tied with Don Shula for third place, with 156. Sep 13, 2016"

son. of. a. bytch. he's going for gold
It will be worth it if Jeff Fisher wins his next 156 games in a row to pass Shula.

"He joined the NFL’s Competition Committee in 2000 and was co-chairman of the group from 2001 through 2010. Even when he out of coaching in 2011, he was retained as a Competition Committee advisor."
Yeah because Jeff Fisher knows what it's like to be competitive
:mjlol: Jesus Christ this guy is a piece of :trash: I always thought of him as a mundane dope, no turns out Jeff Fisher hides a copy of Machiavelli's The Prince under his mustache
"competition committee" is just the name of the group. Those are the motherfukkas that banned "excessive" celebrations and shyt.

Man at this point that ain't even enough.
If you were the owner you'd fire Jeff and tell him "fukk it. Drop the tapes"

:camby:

Jeff gotta be some kind of real life Sith Lord to keep power like this.

I'm sitting here thinking about it and the only explanation I can come up with (other than witnessing some Eyes Wide Shut occult ritual) is a mixture of quid pro quo for his years on some bs executive committee he joined to brown-nose in order to make up for his lack of coaching ability, coupled with the owners of the Rams simply not giving a fukk about their fans.
I think this is backed up by not only giving them a :trash: coach to watch for years, but then just picking up their bags and leaving.
"Eh those bums are still buying merchandise off the heat from the Best Show on Turf, we can throw Jeff a bone"

It's weird the amount of shine this guy's had the past 2 years or so, fans from other teams are demanding his firing :pachaha:
"Please fire this guy, we want harder competition it's just sad out here."
God that's brutal.

Straight from Flatbush
But, lets fire Bowles after one losing season and coaches like Denny Green for having one losing season after going 15-1 or Lovie Smith after going 10-6 :sas1:

Fam that's the NFL policy for black coaches.. They get 2 years and that's it and to justify it talking heads will point to Tomlin as the standard to say "see black coaches get plenty of chances"

C'mon guys, Fisher looks like he knows him some football! The Rams are lucky they snatched him up
before Skoal and Gander Mountain got him on the phone. :smugdraper:
