We went months without knowing wtf Covid was, then over a year without a vaccine. The asymptomatic spread was immense, to the point it’s downright laughable to think just bc you never got sick means you never had it. The whole NBA had covid at one point…Half the US population has said they had it. Half! And that’s not including people who likely had it asymptomaticly. So just bc you’re vaxxed doesn’t mean you haven’t had or can’t get Covid. The overwhelming likelihood is we have all had Covid. There is no ‘study’ than can corroborate or deny that. That’s where individual discretion and thought comes into play

And it’s a vaccine, it’s not medicine right? Bc Vaccines prevent infection but DON’T “cure”, right? Ie why don’t they give HPV vaccines to adults Bc once you got it you got it. So the vaccine can mitigate your side effects and mortality, but it doesn’t change the fact you still have/had Covid

And there’s new cases bc people with preexisting conditions are hit harder by it…also bc people can now test for it left n right. if you test for it that’s when you’ll find out. Most people have no reason to test (but still do it)

I feel like people are forgetting that first year before vaccines and at home testing. When hospitals were flooded and we weren’t allowed to leave the house except for essentials. The actual messaging at that time was DO NOT COME TO THE HOSPITAL unless you’re really sick. They literally acknowledged that hey some of you gon get Covid but just stay at home you’ll be aight.

I believe the lab leak is 70/30 the truth. But the unpopular opinion here is governments can't officially accuse state actors unless you have good proof and these intelligence assessments only were decided in the past year.

Maybe there was super classified intel that they knew earlier but for the US to accuse China in 2020 and then China asks for proof and we say 'it's classified to protect methods/sources' would have been a shyt storm. Conspiracy theorists on the Chinese internet sites at the time were claiming the US planted it in Wuhan to hurt China. What if they claimed 'classified' evidence of this.

What would really be helpful is if other countries had helpful assessments. UK or EU or Japan. But honestly they are probably scared of PRC pushback.
