And Hill married R&B singer Tamia.

i'll meet you in the middle and say the examples OP used are clearly not what HVM meant when KS said it. And that Grant Hill would be the rare example because he was probably going to be successful outside of sports anyway. But simply getting a big pile of money from sports or entertainment isn't "high value". And some of the other criteria the OP came up with have nothing to do with it either.

At least a bachelor's degree, strong family values, strong sense of responsibility, no baby mamas, financially prudent, not infamous, not reckless, no criminal record, forward-thinking/prepares for the future/goal oriented, etc.

If I'm anti-black to y'all because of this, that tells me you don't believe black men can embody these traits. And that's very sad.

Yeah I know what KS meant. His views, and even my own, are that the HVM of the black community will have some relation to the black BGLO professional crowd or the black Boule-Link society crowd. I was just pointing out that some athletes and rappers do come from that background.

For instance, both Prodigy and Guru both came from those crowds.

From the younger generations, I can think of Chance the Rapper.

It’s not easy just to look at what they do and make assumptions. You have to consider their family background. Their family background will let you know if they have access to high value networks and if those networks recognized their families as such.

when I listed Nicki it was based off her choice in partner. Nicki for most men would be a high value catch based on success alone.
