Hope that's a wake up call for all these "I want a black doctor and black nurses" folks. There are a LOT of terrible nurses and MAs and the common denominator is that they despise black patients, poor white patients, and immigrants. They will treat you bad based on experiences they've had with "ghetto" mothers, absent fathers, bad kids, etc. If you're a black woman they will ignore your pain. If you can't speak English they will be exasperated with you. If you're a black man they will despise you.

This isn't all or even most nurses and MAs. But there are bad ones at many if not most hospitals, and depending on how many you get can be life or death.
You always coming with some factual shyt. Repped!

No laws against that. HIPAA doesn’t cover what you’re describing. Hospital policy may limit social media use and it’s case by case. I’m still surprised they fired them, not that egregious to me.
They had previous patients start to post their experiences. Better nip it in the bud if more serious complaints come out. Could get sued etc.

These nurses were just bona fide idiots, but they won't struggle to get jobs.

Why they can’t do like teachers and talk shyt amongst other teachers? Dumb! Going through all of that hard schooling to lose over clout. Wowzers!

Like?!?!?!? Every profession has it's annoyances but that's when you lean on the community right there. Start a group chat with like minds or something. Don't talk about that shyt online on hospital grounds in your scrubs like an idiot. The fukking attention economy wins again.

Emory isn't pressed for attention whoring nurses thirsty for likes and clout.

One nurse was a newbie, the others were 3 travelling nurses. Others will gladly stay off social media for the bump in pay to work at Emory hospitals. :unimpressed:
Well now this makes more sense. It doesn’t hurt a hospital as much to cut a traveler. Hospital’s spend more money keeping actual staff. Those travelers will get other contracts

I don't find anything *triggering* with that they said.

And I don't think this is a case of unprofessionalism.

Professionalism deals with the dynamics of interaction between coworkers, patients, and whoever else that you interface with on the job.

They weren't interacting with anyone but making a video. And they didn't break any sort of HiPAA laws because they kept their complaints general. And they weren't critizing the hospital they worked for.

Should not have been fired imo.

Guess I was born in the wrong generation.
That is not where professionalism stops in a professional industry, especially Medical.

Making a video in the workplace, in work attire giving opinions as agents of that workplace that were not vetted or provided by the appropriate officers of said workplace to be consumed publicly is very much why they were fired and why it was unprofessional.

You were born in the wrong generation no matter which it is because you like you’re Gen Z. And everything is wrong about Z in particular. This video is proof.

Nurses are some the most laziest, ignorant, fukked up people on earth. If you have a sick family member in the hospital or nursing home, stay on their motherfukking ass:ufdup: the squeaky wheel gets the oil .

The first time I heard about this I thought it was something serious. Firing them for this was dumb by the employer. Everyone especially in customer service jobs experience annoying things about customers. Still I have seem military vids where people speak worse. Yeah they should have been disciplined but firing them was too much. Especially if they can't fill those positions immediately.
