the fact he went to france to do it makws me agree (didnt know it was fashion week which is WORSE). This wasnt for hip hop fans or doom. This was some bougie HIGH END CAC shyt. This was something else. People sleeping on that fact.

I dont thibk its biting. Its def exploiting. Im sure this wasnt some tribute concernt benefit he did out the goodness of his heart. If it was then , hey… fukk me. But I understand both sides of this one. Personally i dont think doom would be cool with it happening at fashion week over there but hey wtf do i know.

But i wanna know who that show was for in FRANCE. Foh

Labtekwon is super dope y'all if you into the bars and social consciousness. He does seem bitter though.

Who the fukk is labtekwon:what:
He's a well known underground rapper from Baltimore. He's been around for years. He's in the conscious element of rap like Common or like Mos Def. Got a bunch of tapes. I think he's affiliate with the NOI nowadays I'm not sure.

I commented and bro staight wiped my comment after quoting Guru. the fukk lol

edit: the jyst of my statement was, how is it any better (or more β€œhip hop”) if Mos freestyles entirely new material over Doom instrumentals in the name of Doom tribute while likely monetizing versus actually shining light on Doom’s craft? Despite the audience. Also pointed out that this was transpiring while Doom was living.

hit me with a guru quote about no one owns instrumentals and he could have done it and shyt wasn’t even there to reply to. Even complimented his articulation even with the nonsense in the caption.

I even said I hope old New York gladiators would come out of retirement to rectify the nonsense.

Breh had the audacity to shyt on new school rappers n pull this stunt.

You got 2 take that double tap 2 the head for the violation.

I wouldn't say "well known". I'm from the city and have been to shows and such. He isn't a factor.

That fakkity short story he wrote me told me all I needed to know. He's on some Kweli shyt without the credibility or success. Talking about his degrees and shyt like that's Hip-Hop. Pure corn. I had no idea he still made music. He told me to "take a few weeks and listen to his 43 albums". I'm thinking "GTFOH", but listened to a couple tracks just to be fair and see if I was fukking up and sleeping.

Extra pretentious and not nearly nice enough to talk like that. Podcast gonna be just like his music, talking to himself:manny:

Just looked, he deleted the reply to his screenplay ass response, which was "Aight, GLWT"

Mos did this while DOOM was alive tho. He's said many times that DOOM was his favorite MC he even made a video doing that same song. DOOM gave it his blessing and Mos never tried to pretend it was his song.
All this
