I can eat peanuts and almonds but no other kind. I won’t go into anaphylactic shock though. I’ll throw up and my mouth gets itchy.

I’m allergic to a lot of shyt. Pretty much all seafood. Being depressed over not being to eat food sounds like some fat nikka shyt though. I wish I could try shyt sometimes but it’s a not much a factor in my life.

:russ: I hear ya. For me, I don’t have many vices apart from food. I couldn’t imagine going through life having to worry about certain ingredients but as you said, it’s just about adjusting.

Serious question. Isn’t that shyt depressing knowing a single nut (:dame:) could kill you? I wouldn’t even risk going out to eat.

I couldn’t imagine missing out on all that great food with dairy in it. Being able to eat ice cream without needing to be near a bathroom. :blessed:

This isn’t a humble brag. I honestly feel bad for you guys. :francis:

I could’ve swore it’s a known thing for black people to be lactose intolerant

Matter of fact ain’t all humans technically lactose intolerant
Yeah if you don’t drink milk as a child you’ll naturally lose the ability to digest it. I saw a documentary where settlers gave the native Americans milk and they all came back heated the next day because they thought they were poisoned :mjlol:

I eat the same meals almost everyday. I'm not a "foodie" so it's not something I think about much

I used to be mildly lactose intolerant as a small kid, I could eat cheese and yogurt but couldn't drink milk or eat ice cream without feeling nauseous, and then the lactose intolerance just suddenly disappeared around the time I turned 15 or 16. Haven't had any problems since. :manny:

I'm lactose intolerant so while I avoid dairy I still eat some in small amounts. The main thing I stay away from is ice cream, milk, and large amounts of cheese which the latter two can be hard to avoid whenever you decide to eat out. When I first started it was tough but over time I don't have much of a problem. I do miss ice cream though.
