Lacoste in Europe easily. RL has been bootlegged to oblivion.

I prefer the fit of Ralph Lauren’s apparel and it is more widely available where I live. Ralph Lauren’s apparel is very high quality, I still have polo shirts from circa late 90s very early 2000s era that I still wear occasionally.

I like the vintage feel of the Lacoste and their shirts seem to come in a lot more diverse colorways. Ive found that their style of fit is more baggy in the larger sizes and to small in smaller sizes.

In the department stores, the Lacoste seems to run considerably more expensive than Ralph Lauren on average.

The vintage feel of Lacoste keeps me wearing it though. My mom and dad use to dress me in a lot of those gator shirts when I was a kid. I think IZOD had the brand then before it was sold to Lacoste.

I had a couple of vintage Lacoste polos and has to have them tailored so they’d fit decently. Haven’t checked out anything recent from them.
