Actually, its funny. In my house, my pops cooks way better than my mom. But my pops is Italian and Italian men like to cook. Or well, they know how to cook at least.

My grandma on my pops side is the best cook too. Back when I was a kid we used to go visit my grandparents in Italy and we'd come back chubby from all the sh!t she cooked for us.

Yup, I live with my grandma and she's West Indian so she taught me when I was younger

Same with me. I was my great aunt's sous chef starting at like 5 or 6 (I was kind of fascinated by everything she was doing in the kitchen). As she got older it went from me helping to her giving slight directions as I did most of the work. I earned my first 4h badge for cooking in the 4th grade for making homemade tea cookies. I do not think all women are like me. I just happen to enjoy cooking and the food I like to eat is cheaper if I cook it at home versus eating out every day.
