Had this discussion with a friend of mine last night. Fine trini chick ive been friends with for a while. We're just friends and I'm cool with her dude too.

Anyway, we're at my house drinking some wine and talking we were talking about her sister breaking up with her boyfriend of 2 years. She was saying how dude wasnt good enought for her sister and so on and that she was cheating on her at which point she said " well.. to be fair...As far as the cheating theing goes, I myself dont believe in monogomy like that. Im with my man righ now. I know he's fukked other chicks. I know ive fukked other dudes. All that matters to me is that im the main chick. Im the one he spends his money on and does things with. As long as he dont bring them around me and use protection and we're not bringing anything home, im good"

Now...In the past 10 years ive become more and more open to open relationships and open marriages. I love the fact that more and more women are embracing that concept because let's face it: monogamy as we know it is NOT sustainable. The divorce rates and cheating rates is all the proof you need.

I know there are advantages to both being the main and the side chick/dude. If you're comfortable with your role and you're getting the person you WANT, does it matter if he's busted down a few random brawds while out chilling?

That's what I don't get. As you said more and more women are coming around to it. Good for them, but instead of finding a woman like that most of the time they want to mess over or lie to a woman that's not. Most men who claim they want an "open relationship" don't want a 2 way open relationship. They don't want a woman sleeping with other men and coming home to them. They don't want her doing things with and for other men then coming home and them spending money on her. The last part of your OP sounds 1 sided like that.

In all relationships whether male/female, elder/youth, family/stranger, regardless of race...I try my best to live by this.

But it's hard to do because it takes being honest with urself. Once u really see someone else as urself, it's hard to mentally justify the bullshyt we ask of others.

But I'm sorry the short answer to ur question is no.
If he isn't all mine, I don't want any part of him. Why be alone in a relationship? It gives u none of the benefits of commitment and all of the emotional, physical and mental stress if not more.

This is what women really meant when they said "I can do bad all by myself." It's not saying that male company is unappreciated. Merely that if it comes with this type of bullshyt, it's better to be by yourself. (Or just be in an open relationship so I can reap the benefits of attention and affection from multiple men while u weak strokin ur side hoe.)

Because some men are greedy they want the semblance of a happy home while being able to step out when they want with no repercussions.
Plus im sure its the ultimate ego boost, getting two women to willing share you is i would imagine.
The thing is, how do i know after getting two, you won't try to push it further and go for 3,4 etc?
