People think it's so fukking easy to live by yourself... try living in san francisco paying $2500 a month for rent alone or around any other expensive area in the country...

a bachelor's degree and a master's degree is almost worthless in this economy because so many people have them.

If he has a job, is college educated, and 30, he should have his own place
Why would a man in his thirties want to live with another man?
This isn't the Big Bang Theory the vast, vast majority of men in their thirties aren't PhD educated researchers, who are pioneering in their fields while being underpaid, nor are they college professors. The only other thing I can think of is a freshly minted neurosurgeon or radiologist, who would only make 45k a year and have a massive number of loans along with incredibly long hours, to the point they would spend almost no time at home, and it would be wasteful to have their own apartment. But the moment they graduate they're touching 450k+ a year and that roomate agreement would be cut quote short.
Why would a woman (who may eventually want to move in with her boyfriend) want to share the house with another grown man outside of her boyfriend?

If he's a normal Bachelors degree - office job kind of guy, he should have saved up at least enough money to have his own apartment.

Ladies how do you feel if you meet a handsome man in his early 30s, college educated, no kids, has a career but he tells you that he has a roommate in a fly 2 bedroom condo in a good area of town. Would you consider him a "scrub" because he doesnt have his own place?

Depends on the maturity of the female. Some may see it as a turn on if the half-saved in rent is invested or tied to a business venture. Some may think dude hasnt grown up and wants to live the call of duty marathons/frathouse life, Peter Pan Syndrome. Some may find it suspicious like Larry Johnson and Hov sharing a space together back when. ATL is King of the ballrooms and men. As long as the two arent sharing a toothbrush it should be ok. I havent had a roommate since 25.
