If he has a job, is college educated, and 30, he should have his own place

Why would a man in his thirties want to live with another man?
This isn't the
Big Bang Theory the vast, vast majority of men in their thirties are PhD educated researchers, who are pioneering in their fields while being underpaid, nor are they college professors. The only other thing I can think of is a freshly minted neurosurgeon or radiologist, who would only make 45k a year and have a massive number of loans along with incredibly long hours, to the point they would spend almost no time at home, and it would be wasteful to have their own apartment. But the moment they graduate they're touching 450k+ a year and that roomate agreement would be cut quote short.
Why would a woman (who may eventually want to move in with her boyfriend) want to share the house with another grown man outside of her boyfriend?
If he's a normal Bachelors degree - office job kind of guy, he should have saved up at
least enough money to have his own apartment.

Why are Coli brehs trying to push these low standards
