Put you some braids till it grows out more. Switch it up with some senegalese twist and or marley twist every now and then. Try to leave your edges out on the sides and slick that shyt down like some baby hair and or don't put them braids too tight on your edges. Good Luck.

I don't see the point of doing all that extra shyt and damaging your hair in the process

every time I used to cut my hair I would just let it grow naturally...rockin the lil fro for a while is better than all that other shyt and it will actually grow faster

if I went and cut all my shyt off and got a fade I would have at least 4 inches of growth by new years

you should try not putting anything in your hair too and really be natural with it as long as you wash it once or twice a week you will be straight

If length is an issue I would say get twist, like Senegalese or Havana they don't seem as hard on the edges. If you do them yourself you can control how tight you want tight you want them and they look good loose.

Do you know how to braid your own hair? If so, I would say do the box braids yourself so that there's less stress to the roots = keep your edges
