I recently stopped talking to a guy that was, in his words, in a relationship with a polyamorous woman, and thought he could start talking to me again after she moved to another country... and they're still together.
I rather be alone.
He's admitted that he has issues with commitment

Polygyny-me married to multiple men...in a fantasy world it seems great. Multiple men, when u get tired of dealing with and fukking one dude, there’s another one, several sources of income, multiple father figures for children, lots of protection, provision, multiple emotional needs met. But the reality is this is marriage to two men. Key word: marriage. This isn’t just juggling a roster and getting what u want from dudes and leaving them on read when u get bored.
That’s twice the laundry, food, egos, bro jokes, fights, aggression, whining, sex drive, fukking up the crib. Two sets of in-laws...so nah.
Monogamy with a reasonable partner is the best fit but that’s not perfect either. Neither is just being single.
Any path u choose is going to have some drawbacks but some lifestyles seem WAAAYYY more prone to fukkery than others.
