OK I'll try to keep it short, so say you have a dude and hes a real good guy. respectful, respectABLE, good looking, not a slut, and he asks like a man and makes you want to ACT LIKE A WOMAN. and he has goals..ur just not at that point in your life yet to settle down though. What do you do? If you're both interested, yet you know you cant hold a conversation with this man because youre used to gutterbut nikkas? Basically how do you deal with wanting a good respectable dude but knowing damn well hes out of your league and feeling like you cant measure up? Ive treated good men like nikkas due to just being immature and Lord knows Im thinking about just leaving him alone due to not only MY feelings of inadequacy (sp?) but his friends know it. Im black hes white its never been a big deal just a white boy that fell in love with a black girl but lately Ive just been filling out of place. Like he and his friends along with their gfs would invite me somewhere, Ill go but only to not appear rude, the whole time theyre talking about being finance majrs or whatev. coming from well established homes

Do you know some white girl had the adaucity to ask me who my parents were? smh i dont know i can hang with these ivy league rich kids anymore I mean Im nowhere from DIRT poor but I drive a Honda and they drive Porsches with rich lawyer daddies and accountant moms. ont know why lately Ive been feeling like this

Well, if he thinks you're good enough for him, why worry about what you think his friends might say about you behind your back? I know it's hard not to be paranoid, but girl, it's your relationship, not anyone else's.

And you seem to like him a lot from what you said, so why dump a good man out of feelings of inferiority? He wouldn't be with you if you weren't good to him. There's no need for you to ''measure up'' in terms of the car you drive or some silly shyt like that. Now you know you've got a good guy, stick to him, take care of him, don't just let him go 'cause later when you're kicking it with no good men again, you're going to regret it.
