Every woman has different standards. Some women care primarily about looks, some care about your bank account, others just want to have fun with you. If you find yourself getting curved often then start approaching women as yourself, don't try to look cool. When you come into a situation pretending, eventually the real you shows and the incompatibility becomes apparent.

Also, if you see a women that you find attractive but you're hesitant on how to approach her don't just stare...that makes men look insecure and childlike.
