Sometimes when we dont holler or make a move it doesnt mean we're not at all interested. It may just be that... you know..we have a situation and we're not ready to pursue you.

Something happened between me and a young lady who's a core member of my friends circle. Shes one of my friends best friends. I wouldnt call her MY friend but we're friends to the point where we known each other for years and have been to each other's homes for parties before but we've never had any one-on-one time.
So a few months ago (August) we ran into each other at a club. We hung out and had a great time together. We were both intoxicated and at some point we had.. a moment.. where there was some grabbing and touching going on. Afterwards i drove her home (she had taken Uber to get there) and we were alone for a brief minute but she was expecting some of our friends over. We didnt do anything but we probably would have if some of our friends didnt suddenly show up killing the whole thing.
Thing is ive always liked her from a far. But never thought I even had a shot so i never bothered to even try to holler. (i know i shouldnt think like that) Plus she was dating someone at the time. And I happen to be cool with homie too now. Thats the TIMING part.
The other thing is ive been kicking it with my ex lately and im not sure where thats going. She met my ex. Even asked if we were getting back together once (before the "incident"). Again, TIMING.
So the other day we ran into each other again with our group of friends. And i get the "side eye" like
Granted she was friendly after that but... just saying
