Having your shyt together means having a stable income, your own place and your own car and just being mostly independent and able to handle all your responsibilities such as kids, pets etc.

If you have that then you have your shyt together. Beware though cuz females use "Have your shyt together," the same way they do "A Real man would..." Basically as a way to manipulate men to do what they want them to do. Some woman won't say you have your shyt 2gether until you buy them a ring and get married or take care of her children or something. Don't put much value into anything that deviates from my 1st paragraph.

Having material things doesn't count as having your ish together.
To me, it means he has a goal, knows how to reach it, and has taken steps to reach it. None of that bird brain stuff like selling drugs, being obsessed with sneakers/jewelry, or speaking lowly of women. He's a man who loves himself and loves his people. For me, it also means having a relationship with God or at least some sort of spirituality. I hate to judge, but I can't take atheists seriously. That's a whole different thread and I hope no one takes offense by that comment, just speaking my heart.
