If men grow up watching men who have thug energy scooping up all manner of women, while men who approach with genuine curiosity, honesty and desire for a relationship/commitment or who put the woman's happiness above his own seem to get nowhere with women, what does this say about women and their choices and how they wish to be treated?
.
What are men who watch the news and see stories about monsters like the columbine killers having female fans or convicted rapists and murderers getting letters in the mail from women while they can't even get a text back supposed to think?
What conclusion are men supposed to reach?
What is the response to the 'nice guys finish last' narrative when men see it with their own eyes?
Genuinely curious, not trolling because I want to see the other side of the coin, I want to understand how women process their choices in men. I see lots of articles/video essays/tweets by women complaining about misogyny, but I don't see articles from women explaining why some can hold a view that misogyny is bad whilst their dating history shows a lineup of misogynists? Does it make sense to admonish men for emulating bad behavior that is rewarded by the opposite sex?
Or is it really more an expression of offense that men aren't emulating thug energy successfully enough, and it's the crude imitation that is more disgusting than the actual behavior itself
I'ma let this thread marinate or flop, but it's something I was finna get off my chest before I go out tonight for a lil bit
