ok enough is enough. i gotta ask the ladies this question. Did yall actually think up the Item: "I want him to be funny" or "i want him to make me laugh"?
Or are yall getting that from TV, Magazines, books, etc.

The reason i ask, is this. You rarely hear a guy say, "She has to be funny" or "she has to make me laugh." Sure thats a bonus regardless. But that is almost never a prerequisite to a dude. and truthfully until i started seeing that in romantic movies, seeing it in the stores on magazine covers, etc, etc i then start hearing regular ladies say that. I never heard a woman say that before things occurred. so maybe its just me.

Me personally i love to laugh, i love the feeling of joy it brings me. Its one of my favorite things to do. I dont need a comedian, just someone with a sense of humor. I think im a funny person and i like to be around other funny people. Its one of the reasons i joined this forum as well as others i was on. For the jokes, the humor, the silliness sometimes. I just like a dude i can cut up with.

If we get along, share similar interest, if He's loyal, not afraid to show me affection. At the same time he doesn't take my shyt. I actually have to think before I come at him a certain way. Open mindedness, funny, wants kids, works hard and wants the best for us as a couple.
The main thing is us respecting each other.
But this whole wanting to get married thing is new for me, I'm tryna figure it out myself. I like to read what others say and see how that aligns with what's going on in my life now.
