Why does the fact that I say I would prefer to be presented ring bother you?
For the 3rd time in this thread,

It doesn't bother me that you want the ring. I dapped up plenty of girls in this thread, INCLUDING YOU, who wanted the ring.

The reason I keep questioning you is:
1) you kept replying to me.
2) your logic for needing the ring is ridiculous

If you had just said you want the ring because it's become a tradition, or because you like jewelry, or because it's part of your dream....then fine. I wouldn't say shyt.

But you're acting like NOT having the ring means the man does't love you or some shyt. Like he doesn't value you.
That's a completely different set of logic that I can't understand.

And what's worse, you can't even explain it.

I don't care that you want the ring.

But you think a ring is necessary to show commitment.
But you can't explain how a ring shows commitment.

It's like you believe a man is INCAPABLE of showing commitment without a ring. That's insane.

A man who generallly intends to commit would not do whaT you propose because he wants to have it known that his woman is taken.

In the real world, people are not arguing ad nauseum signing marriage contract and presenting a ring to their spouse so your scenarios are silly.

:mindblown: Where are you getting this logic from?

Now you think a man wants his woman to have a ring as like....branding? Like she's his cattle or some shyt?

"Hey man, that's my woman. See the ring?"

He is suggesting no rings because it os a waste of money even after the marriage.
it depends on the woman, i think its money that could be better spent elsewhere but i wouldnt call it a waste. me personally im not big on jewelry, we got matching tattoo wedding bands. my first marriage tho i bought the wedding bands set for us both and took them hoes to the pawn shop and sold em when i found out he cheated on me, i stayed with him but i wanted my money for the rings back.

A man where's a ring to show he is married too. Are you a male feminist? So if you wife chooses to keep her last name you'd be ok with that?

I totally agree that a ring shouldn't be 'costly' but I disagree that it is a waste but they intend to make me a gild digger at all cost so....

I would never pay for the rings that is my spouse's job. When you show a man that you can do too much on your own they become lazy especially I have noticed african/black men.
