Who can be mad at the truth? It is what it is.

Yea, P is a RAP legend but a Queensbridge STREET legend? NAH, not even and he doesn't have to be.
He spoke his opinion on some real QB legends who did their dealings there and gave a portion of their lives to the system behind it.

Why would and why should they let that rock? Truth be told, they should of consulted with residents prior to the mural for the sake of keeping it clean and understanding the sentiments of the current and former residents. ESPECIALLY the residents of the past the crossed paths with Prodigy in one way or another. Would of been better off on Merrick blvd near his Grandmother's old dance school or Lefrak

FYI the reason why prodigy disrespected mikes mom is because P kicked bars n hooks off the infamous label because mike delereon stole havoc production equipment and sold it to nikkas on the street.

prodigy said in his book that mike delereon felt some kinda way about havoc because he was stand off-ish to him since hav don't know him like that.

What his mother has to do with any of it is beyond me though. I always felt P was buggin for still hanging out in QB. A place he ain't grow up to begin with. Your own band mate, a person who was born there is telling you to stop hanging there should of been a RED FLAG. I assume he wanting to keep a certain image and wanted to be accepted for whatever reason that is. Cats exploited him.

I find it hard to believe there isn't any young kids popping out of QB right now. Or any young crews / movements. That place has the population of a small/mid-sized city. Just like any city it produces a lot of talent in every walk of life. You mean to tell me no one has been able to get a little bit of a buzz popping out of there in like 15 years? There's gotta be tons of young kids there. I'm guessing that maybe these old dusty "pay me for being alive" dudes have something to do with newer kids not popping out of there. This thread has been :ohhh: though. Besides the first stringers, I never really paid any attention to anything out of QB, especially the bench warmer/weed carrier super-thug stuff. I used to think Lake's verse on Revolutionary Warfare was :ehh: but after re-visiting it ... :beli:

N.O.R.E. Says He Knows Who Ruined Prodigy’s Mural & Why (Video)

“I’m not qualified to speak on that,” begins N.O.R.E. to DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God after the 19:00 mark. While N.O.R.E. opted to refrain from naming names, he expounds, “But it came from a big homie that’s in jail that don’t have nothing. I know you always big [up] Prodigy’s book, but Prodigy’s book hurt a lot of people [including some who are] dead, in jail, alive, and [this particular] guy that’s up north. He’s a respectable guy, and everybody respects him. He sent the word, and it’s official.” Noreaga refuted reports that it was local teen vandals.

Here's the video. 19:30 mark

For real...

This is the Hood that Brought us the Juice Crew in the 80's which was one of the first deep all star rap cliques (they beef wit BDP crew from the Bronx is legendary) .

Then it's a million nikkas from QB that repped in the 90's, most have been mentioned in this thread.

How in 2017 is no young nikka from QB even buzzing?

Shyt don't make sense for a hood that big with that history.:dwillhuh:

Word he said that? Damn dude is a straight bum

hixwmf4.jpg

As a New Yorker, I can tell by their stance that they're grimey/up to no good type of dudes:scust:. That's the scheming stance, especially dude with the garbage can on his head. And trusting a dude named sherm the worm is the same as trusting a dude named Rico Hines

He just saying the same shyt we already knew. Sherm the worm. The sad shyt about this whole thing is this entire beef started because Prodigy gave these nikkas tickets to a show and they show up late and can't get in. Had prodigy not gave them tickets or they get in the show then maybe none of this happens. Smh

People are looking at street shyt from a hip hop fan perspective. Myself included, it seems fukked up.

Yet people can't hype up 'respect in the street' then get upset when someone who earned that respect, made sure someone that lost their respect didn't get shine in those same streets.

Mobb Deep fans don't need the mural. We have the music. If those street legends don't want him to get shine in those streets, so be it.
