Lakers fans feeling like camels on December 4th, 2001 right now.
STOP taking shots @ my boy
at every position, Mike 'Antoni is your coach, and your outlook is bleak. Worry about making the playoffs first. Some of these dudes swore they were title contenders the last two years when they got worked in the 2nd round. They act like they're automatically contenders just because of some Lakers mystique or something.well we see him already getting there now. the guy is jumping much higher and quicker every game.Yet? How do you know he'll ever get there? His back might be grandma-ma status.

we anticipated that coach brown was going to run a normal offense. You all disqualified this excuse when you were talking about 73-9 and all that other bullshyt. If Lakers fans anticipated this "newness" was going to be a problem, they were awfully quiet about it.
but see this is what yall dont understand. we dont have to worry about making the playoffs because of a super sluggish start. we do this. yall dont. how many times have the lakers missed the playoffs? go do your homework.L.H. Lakers are fans are funny because they're so delusional. I was reading some Lakers fan's comments in a thread about the Grizzlies' title chances the other day. Dude was sizing up the Lakers vs. Grizz in the playoffs and listing elite WC teams talking about "such-and-such is the only team that scares me, I'm not worried about ______."

Some of us tried to tell you the Larry Holmes Voltron will flop. They may put it together and start to gel, but they're still not seeing the finals or the WCFs. Yall talked a lot of shyt after those offseason moves. You gotta eat the backlash.
The fukk we sposed to talk about? Practice?![]()

Its cute all the Laker fans dap eachother's posts![]()
we anticipated that coach brown was going to run a normal offense.
No one knew before hand that they were going to try to run the princeton.
thats like running the triangle. it takes a good 3 months to get that together. especially with so many new parts and dynamic parts(dwight, nash)
so i'll stick to my 73-9. or 65+ if we have coach brown running normal pick n whatever plays from the start of training camp/preseason. with a 100% nash early in the season playing with dwight, kobe, and world peace.
no one knew nash would be hurt this early. i mean sure he's old but that was a fluke injury. being old = nagging injuries coming after you've played 30 or so games. you start burning out as an old dog. thats not what happened. if we would've had Dwill and the same injury occured. it would still be a fluke and we would still look like jeckle and hyde every other game without dwill.
i always stated "barring injury the lakers cant be stopped."
Really? They announced they were going to be running the princeton before they even traded for Dwight. Everyone from Kobe to Mike Brown to the fans were raving about how perfect it would be for the Lakers and their personnel.

Bilz; I thought I was the only nikka from Los Angeles that's been a lifelong hater of this shytty ass franchise, but you've proved me wrong. :concerned:
What part of LA u stay in breh? We may need to hit up a bar and watch these nikkas get cooked one day![]()

well we see him already getting there now. the guy is jumping much higher and quicker every game.
now what wont be cured is those FT's. i warned laker fans about this. the one thing i had to give bynum props for was the fact he could will himself into shooting a very high ft%. most bigs cant shoot fts that well. the good bigs that arent 100% faceup shooter types(amare) usually have below 70% averages. but right now dwight is at a record low. and it started last season with the magic. he's in the 40%. thats worse then shaq ever. at this point he's losing games because of this. with or without the hack a dwight strategy. guys bare hug him because they know he's about to get a gimme 2pt dunk. he goes to the line and misses both or makes 1. thats not going to cut it. shaq could get away with that because he was shooting in the 60%. at worse during his best days in the 50's. on top of the fact he was more dominant then dwight. it showed in his points per game.
now that doesnt mean dwight isnt the best center in todays league. cause he is. it just means todays league is watered down at the center position.
now he could get away with bricking fts. if nash was healthy. because we would be up 15. not based on nash's scoring. but based on his ability to run D'antoni's offense. without an insane amt of unforced errors.
i cant be mad at kobe for not being a true Point guard. no he's not LBJ. he's a better scorer and assassin.but lbj has always been a better facilitator passer. kobe has done it in the triangle. but even in that offense you dont use as many pick n rolls. he said it last night. "i'm 34 yrs old. i have never ran this many pick n roll/pop sets. but i'm learning i'm in the gym early trying to work on my ball handling and passing and how to rub off of screens etc.
its an art. just like playing in the triangle is an art that most players never figure out.
the rest of the nba has been living in the pick n whatever offense all the years kobe was winning rings under the triangle. the problem is, you cant just say well they should've hired phil. phil would've coached for one more year maybe 2 tops. and there's no guarantees of winning even with him. because then we would have a ton of guys that dont know the triangle. and they have to take forever to get that together.
nash being out is killing us on offense which is giving the ball away to the other team. dwight aint helping with the missed ft's.
gasol is a little girl now that he is no longer our #2 option. he's been this way for the past few seasons. on top of that mike brown over practicing these older guys has given gasol tendonitis. so not only is he a girl. he's a girl with bad knees at the moment.
but with all that said. we're not getting blown out.
3 coaches in 3 new offenses in a matter of weeks. no team would survive that and look consistent. without their best facilitator. impossible.
thats why i'm not worried. hit me up in feb. by that time, nash will have been back for a couple of months. since he's coming back late december/ jan.
and by that time the entire team we be used to one another and use to their new coach/plays.
the lakers issues are easily correctable. but a few things have to happen for them to be corrected. the first thing is give them TIME(to heal, to learn the plays).

one of those years i swear they did it on purpose to get a good pick.
we have more then enough talent to slide into the playoffs at the 6th, 7th, or 8th seed. and thats without nash. and yes without nash and if gasol is still hurting with those knees and still being a girl. we would get bounced in round 1 or 2.
but remember a younger kobe +kwame, cook, walton, and smush parker got into the playoffs and almost stung the 2nd best team in the western conf.
so never under estimate the lakers ability to get into the offs. thats nothing to worry about.
and unlike you guys if we were really worried. we would be telling management to tank the rest of the games. cause unlike yall we dont care about conference championships and divisional banner.s we dont care about "just making the offs" we care about winning it all. if we look around and it looks like we just dont have what it takes. best believe we will tank and make sure we get a decent pick to ship/package with some of these other guys to put together a champion in a matter of a few years. not a few decades.
the Lakers do have enough talent to make the playoffs even without Nash, but that should have been enough to win half these games they lost so far also. All that talent don't mean shyt without effort. Even if something strange happened like Dwight & Kobe getting injured, & they decided to tank there wouldn't be any decent picks coming.
