Monroe is atrocious defensively. I don't see how Stan, who is a Defense 1st kinda guy, could possible make that work. Especially since Drummond is the perfect center for his system.

They should sign and trade Monroe to whatever team wants him for a TPE, then build around the young core they got now. Drafting Mcdermott would be tremendous, since the Pistons desperately lack a pure shooter and SVG loves to "center" his offense around them. (pun intended)

Keeping Monroe makes no sense unless they do a sign and trade. Dougie D in Detroit would be a great pick-up just because of his shooting ability. I think they're almost guaranteed to keep that draft pick this year, right?

Their pick is top 8 protected (they're currently sitting at 8th). But crazier things have happened in the draft lotto.

I've liked Greg because he was a Hoya but I haven't caught a lot of (who am I kidding? any) Pistons games since they fell off. I've heard that he is horrible defensively and doesn't have a mid-range jumper, but a competent rebounder and post-player. It seems like it would be redundant for a team like Charlotte to add him. Offensively it would be fun to watch an old school, skilled group of big men work but I don't think it would transition to wins. Defensively, neither are good athletes so, it would be :feedme:for these guards/wings in the lane.

The Suns look like they're going to match any offer for Bledsoe, and Channing Frye would be silly to opt-out, so I don't think they're serious contenders.

It makes sense for WAS due to age difference between him and Gortat. They would probably have to let go of Ariza and Gortat, and after the big games they've had, management won't allow both of them to walk. I think WAS is :camby:

I think Philly should take a run at him once they figure out their draft position. MCW, Parker or Wiggins, Monroe, Noel sounds like a nice core.

he has a mid range J, it's just inconsistent, should be much improved next year. It looked better this season.
