Lakers are zeroing in on JJ Redikk to be the next coach of the Lakers (Shams)

A part of me feels like JJ wants to coach so that he has more content for his productions when he's done coaching.

Wouldn't be surprised if he coaches for like 3 years and quits and then is like welp, I checked that off my bucket list

JJ knows his shyt. The issue isn't can he draw up plays, or make adjustments, or put in a good rotation. He'll be a rookie coach but I'm sure he'll figure that out.

The other part of being a coach is managing players and working with talent to play their best. He may have been doing that towards the end of his career, I dunno. But I think LA hiring another first time coach for this veteran squad is a mistake.

But if their main concern is to grab headlines and revenue. And if LeBron is content with just getting playoffs births then do it

Are you sure he'd be considered for any other job? He just used cronyism (who do you know) like many people in this country do to get in the door.
