Yea this aint gonna work, and its certainly not gonna save Luke from criticism. the coddling from the FO needs to stop. I wish they wouldve afforded DLo the same protection. Zo the only dudes that hasnt had to earn his minutes like Luke preaches

Because he's our only point guard.

You want Tyler Ennis out there instead? Clarkson is a scoring guard that plays like a shooting guard and doesn't look to create. We can't really bench Lonzo unless the rest of the team is just gelling and when they have been he has gotten benched.

Russell was getting benched for poor defense on top of his struggles offensively. Lonzo plays good defense.

bytch you know damn well the question is how does Lavar affect Lonzo's job...you clown ass said he isn't and that the organization doesn't have a problem with Lavar's antics. Now we see they OBVIOUSLY do and that Lavar has moved on to speaking on his teammates. He IS affecting his job. Now take your L and move the your goalposts and your clown ass the fukk on CAC :camby:
So you're not going to tell me how he's affecting his job? You can keep bloodying your fingers on your keyboard and call me whatever you want. Be furious, it makes no difference to me:mjlol:Keep repeating that Lavar is affecting Lonzo's job. Until you can tell me how, I'm going to keep making you look foolish. I remember what I said. Here's the statement from the team:
"It's not a new policy; it's an existing policy," a team spokesperson told ESPN. "There has been more media presence in that area than before. That section is strictly for family and guests of players. It's a privacy concern."
They're enforcing it because there's more media there than there usually was. There's more media there because of Lavar. The enforcement of this policy isn't stopping people from interviewing Lavar Ball. Unlike nikkas thirsty for any and all Lavar Ball news they can find, I actually read the article:pachaha:This is being called the "Lavar Ball Rule" by "employees at Staples Center". They interviewed people that work for the arena. Not for the Lakers, the arena. So that means you nikkas are getting hype from quotes that could be coming from janitors and security:deadmanny:Plus this has been going on all season but just now becomes a story because a week can't go by without a forced Lavar headline.

I already posted what Luke had to say about Lavar talking, here's another quote that matters a lot more than some random, obsessed coli nikka:

Retired Lakers forward A.C. Green, a good friend of Magic Johnson, recently told TMZ that he has no issue with what LaVar Ball said about Randle and Walton.

"I don't think he has any affiliation with the Lakers ... but he has an opinion," Green said in the interview. "And you guys keep giving him the opportunity to share his opinion, and you should ... He's going to do what he does."
You can argue that the effects are minor but overall it is not a good look that this even had to be spelled out like this.
I can't argue about the effects because no one has been able to tell me what they are. Literally all I keep hearing is "you really think this has no effect?" yet no one actually states what that effect is. This is the second thread the same nikka is replying to me with the same shyt and he has yet to tell me what these obvious effects are. If nikkas just said they didn't like how delusional and bombastic Lavar was and kept it moving, I wouldn't care. But you can't state dude is having an actual clear effect on someone else without being able to say what that effect is.

Dumb move by the LAkers. Jus talk to him privately and tell him only to comment on Lonzo's play.

Lakers aren't a good team for player development, imo.

Every time Lavar is on camera that is more BBB promo. The NBA does not wanna assist in helping an independent Black business owner eat.:beli:

It affects his job because his employer is having to change rules because of him. Lonzo has a guaranteed contract so it's not that comparable to everyday situations but whether you think its positive or negative or major or minor, LaVar has an effect on Lonzo and how he is viewed.

The Lakers didn't change anything, they're enforcing something that existed already. The media is going to interview Lavar regardless, it's just not happening at games in a certain area, at a certain time. None of this has anything to do with my opinion or what I think. That's why my argument has always been based on facts and what the team has publicly stated. It's also why I keep asking people to tell me what these effects are and have yet to get an actual answer.
