Even when Zo was around they lost some close games and they lost in some beatdowns, because that's what bad teams do. And I love it
With that said, I highly doubt he’s the only reason they have caved.

Our last great player is Harrison Barnes. I know for at least the last 5 years that scandal bullshyt has really hindered the type of talent we get. Luckily it hasn't really affected the schools success, but It's not a good look for top recruits that want to be one and done.
We got some heat coming in next year tho.

One thing I loved about Zo was all he wanted was wins. Its not a good night unless they get the W...
I think Kuz had that mentality as well but once all the scoring "praises" he got mixed in with the L's you can tell he's kinda playing with a shoot first mentality.
Before he was just making the right plays and not being hesitant on offense now he's gonna shoot 90% of the time.
I don't mind atm because people been unhealthy so they needed it a lil bit and we competed sometimes..
But now we getting blown out by 40 and looking like the tanking nikkas all over again. Thats why I was high on Zo because he changes the culture of this team naturally but you can tell nikkas from the old regime and a lot of young nikkas playing for contracts didn't want to give up the reigns and listen to the young guy that is supposed to be the new leader.
Now I hope they will.. Despite Zo's struggle on his shot (which was his main knock) he was naturally a great playmaker, good athlete, great IQ, and good defender despite him trying to defer and fit into how everyone else played instead of Luke MAKING them fit into how he plays like the guys in SL did.

No one wants to see KCP, JC, and JR jack up shots.. We expected a different team this year than the tanking shyt., nikkas don't even like watching the games right now without Zo..

Look the team is ass with or without Zo and that's coming from a Laker fan. Yeah the games were closer but at the end of the day the team was still losing. Let's not act like they weren't getting blowed out with Zo too. Stop painting dude as some savior lol. What's the excuse gone be when he comes back and they still losing?
